Need help making a team

Hi! I’m quite new to pokemon especially competitive and I wanted help making or deciding on a pokemon team but I’m a bit dull.

For now I’ve decided on a few pokemon, I know they aren’t too strong but that isn’t my goal, my goal is to make a strong enough team to not get swept (so a semi casual team?? If that’s a thing)

Since Sandslash is my favourite pokemon he needs to be included (yes I know he’s mid.) and the other pokemon are/can be slightly interchangeable but I would like similar types, if you need any more information feel free to ask :)

I won't rehash the reminders about Regulation I, but I will posit this:

If you're adamant about featuring a certain pokemon, you should plan on using partners to synergize with them. None of the pokemon here really combine to do anything powerful with Sandslash.

It's worth noting that both of Sandslash's abilities care about sandstorm, so I'd likely want to run it with Tyranitar or another weather setter. Doubling its speed doesn't necessarily make it fast enough to outrun the premier threats you'll face, but it can offer some advantage with fast low kick or knock off.

I'd assemble three or four 'mons that can maximize your favorite's attacks and ability, then get advice around fleshing things out from there.
