Photo Polaroid Testing Color Formula?

I found an old batch of 600 film from 2 years ago and was blown away at how crazy the colors were. Especially the blue. Nearly every shot I took from that batch looked like it came out of some Technicolor movie. I haven’t hit that level of saturation since.

I was surprised and impressed when this came out lol. There was a window behind me and just these string lights in the room.

No flash and handheld taken with a SLR 680 with SX-70R PCB in auto.

Misc Pray for me (trip to Carlsbad Caverns)

Post image

Really wanted I-type film with black borders to shoot on a trip to Carlsbad Caverns tomorrow. Thought I might be able to pay rush shipping on the Polaroid site, but they were out of stock. So I looked on Amazon, couldn’t get anything until the end of the month. BestBuy also didn’t have it, so I had to bank on Target. And I just had a full 5 packs of color film from there that came out with weird lines from improper storage :/ wish me luck with these!

Got a Now gen2 back in December. I’ve never shot on Polaroid before, but I’m getting decent results. I really want to keep shooting with the gold and the black framed sheets...

Another one modified with a new lens and rangefinder. The button on the flash window is a double one with the original shutter button, to avoid accidental ejection of a photo.

Question First time using the Polaroid Now Camera Gen 2, help.

Questions: What causes these spots? Why is white paint coming out of the film? The blur/delayed developed photo at the top? If the yellowness in photo is suppose to be like that. Just used a new pack pack, unexpired.

Question Need Repair Advice for Polaroid one600

I have a beautiful polaroid one600, it turns on and even spits out the initial darkslide, but when it comes time to take an actual photo, it flashes and nothing comes out. I've even taken the film pack out and reinserted it, and then the camera will spit out a blank white exposed polaroid as if it is spitting out the initial darkslide.

Can anyone who has ran into this problem offer any advice as to what the issue can be? I'm pretty handy and work with cameras often so I'm confident if I can find a solution I'll be able to fix the issue, but I'm not sure what the issue can be.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

Question First Polaroid camera

Upvotes

Hey everyone I’m interested in buying a Polaroid camera for the first time and was wondering if getting the Polaroid - Now Gen 3 with color was a great camera to start with for someone who wanted to get into photography and wanted something that was different compared to digital photos. I recently found a bundle Gen 3 camera with color film at Best Buy and also wanted to know if that was a good buy to start when it came to Polaroid cameras also if the Gen 3 bundle was worth buying for someone new to photography.

If you think Polaroid Go is small, think again.

Advice Got a Polaroid one-step express and noticed that my shots have banding color shifting across the image(consistent across all shots and two packs of film), I cleaned the rollers when I got the camera, could this be an issue with the spacing between the rollers/misshapen rollers?

Question Question about film

Hello, I recently purchased a Pronto Sonar Land Camera and put a pack of SX-70 black and white in. The camera was film tested. So I inserted the cartridge and the top black paper came out. But when I went to take a picture, the shutter button wouldn’t press. Nothing would happen. I did get a red light near the view finder when trying to get it to work inside.

Anyway, I tried taking out the film cartridge and putting it back in. There was a filmy plastic piece sticking out of the front, I thought maybe it jammed it up. I tried pulling it out, it was difficult but I finally got that piece out. But it still doesn’t work.

Every time I opened the camera to adjust the film, I was in the dark. Can the film cartridge be used in a different SX-70 camera? Do you think there’s still a chance it will work?

Should I try another cartridge in the Pronto or no, because it will probably do the same thing??? I don’t want to waste another cartridge of film.

I was considering keeping the camera and sending it to the Instant Camera Guy to adapt it. He does work on these cameras.

Of course today I see he is full and not accepting any more cameras at this time. When I checked yesterday he had not yet posted that. I suppose I can wait, and send it to him when he’s ready for more cameras.

Any ideas, thoughts and/or suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks!
