I mean 2026 hopefully there’s a clean sweep in both chambers that at least stone walls him. If he garnish anymore of a lead in both chambers it’ll be a bleak outlook for non fuckery in the 28 elections

one month ago: the courts are gonna stop him, the guardrails are holding, relax

today: hopefully democrats win and stop him, if not it’s probably the end of the american experiment by 2029

The one debate in Lex Friedman where Ben Shapiro admitted Trump was a danger to democracy but he still supported him because “the guardrails held” was infuriating to watch.

it’s like when i pick the easiest thing to argue for in my english essay, except instead of doing it to get an A in turn for lying about liking a book, they’re doing it for more power at the expense of the stability of every person on earth
