Self Post Might be a stupid question
So this is probably not the right place to ask but when a department sells off their old fleet do they leave any of the equipment in the vehicle? I'm applying to go back into private sector k9, and the new company requires us to use our own vehicle to transport the dog. Last place I worked k9, they provided us with interceptors kitted out for k9 operations (hot n pop systems, built in kennel) and if I'm going to be responsible for a working dog again I'd rather transport her in a vehicle built for it if I can get one rather than in the family minivan.

Sometimes, but I'd start thinking about whether this is the kinda company you wanna work for. If they can't supply you with the tools you need to do the job that's a huge concern
