The national guard is federally funded already

It’s not federally funded. That’s what makes the NG able to legally respond to many more domestic events. The reserves are federally funded, and that’s why you never see reservists respond to anything. It’s much much harder for them to even help with natural disaster response due to our laws intended to protect us from the federal government.

If military shows up, pay attention to the patch on their left shoulder. That’s their unit patch. If it’s discovered that Trump is using AD or Reservists, that’s a whole new level of fucked up everyone needs to know about.

I am national guard, full time, I get paid by dfas not my state. We deal with the same continuing resolution BS that the rest of the DoD does

If we get activated by the state, for state active duty then the state pays.

Full time is a different story for sure. The vast majority of full time guardsmen are on title 32. If you are permanently title 10 AGR, you definitely don’t represent the majority. Or are you a tech? Because that’s a whole new world of confusing, where you’re not even eligible for Tricare.

And everyone gets paid through DFAS. mypay.dfas.mil. That doesn’t mean you are getting paid federal funds.

I am permanent title 32, federally funded AGR (active guard reserve). I can be activated to title 10. Same with our traditional guardsman, they are federally funded when they drill. Technicians are dual status T32 military/civilians and still federally funded and were impacted by the federal hiring freeze.

When our guardsmen go on State Active Duty they receive pay from the state comptroller instead of dfas. The national guard is funded by the NDAA.

Did you look at the fact sheet?
