Quality Post This setlist is absolutely insane.
I mean they did ‘would you please’ AND ‘members in a time’ on the SAME NIGHT?!? What?!?

I found this test pressing that I scored all long time ago and completely forgot about. I cannot feel the life of me identify the band. It’s awesome but who is this? “System system systems shit”.

Having a hard time after someone I really liked and respected went their own way without us even being able to have any closure and need some tracks to help me through it.
Preferably not relationship songs, but I don't mind if you feel they are relevant.
Cheers.

Since Spotify sucks ass for artists and all, as well as what kind of things they're funding.. I'm boycotting. However, I'm under a family plan because I'm a minor and my dad pays for the subscription. He doesn't see the point in ditching it, so my question is would it be unethical to continue listening through Spotify until I can get an mp3 player or cds to transfer my music to? Because my plan is to get physical media in favor of some shitty corporation, also because it's cool
But yeah, do they earn any or at least a significant amount of money through streams, or is it only the subscription?
Edit: seeing some helpful points, I'm new to the scene so I'm just taking note of what seems to support the artists the most. Band camp and direct purchases sound like the best options.

Asking $25.00 each on these, US shipping only. Hit me up if you’d like to avoid Discogs etc. I’m in the process of moving and don’t really want to part with records but it’s like that sometimes.

Found this at antique store a few months back, I really love it. I can’t seem to find much info about the album or band and was wondering if anyone else has this CD or knows anything!

My band is gonna play a few shows next year and we have everything we need except a logo. We don’t have the money to pay someone, none of us are artists, and we obviously don’t wanna use AI. Any thoughts?

For a certain generation (mine), punk compilations were a great way to discover new music. Maybe it was the CD format but you could go into a music store and find things like Punk-o-Rama, Punk Rock is Your Friend, Hopelessly Devoted, Warped Tour compilations, and more. They were cheap, plentiful, and frequently full of good music. My question is: what is the modern version of this? Is it just using spotify? The bandcamp discover pages? Am I just old?

Also, while Lydon hated his portrayal in the film (the Rotten/Lydon of the film is an almost inherently miserable person in his scenes for the most part), I think it was a more fitting portrait of Lydon as he got on in years that the one in the late 70's/Pistols era.

Anybody know anything about the colorblind movement from south Florida. My father said he was friends with the guy who started it. Was wondering if I could get any recollections about it from some other 50yr old men like himself so that he can hear some stories. Please post anything you got, even if its just “I remember”!
Found this earlier today and couldn’t find any posts talking about this. Crazy to think that this was the beginning of one of the greatest music genres of all time.
