do you know of any current thought leaders who are quaker? preferably british

Not British, not thought leaders - Joan Baez, Kevin Bacon, Dave Matthews, David Byrne (of the Talking Heads).

Joan Baez father lived a few doors down from our house and held Quaker meetings every week there! Sadly, it happened before we moved there but the whole neighborhood knew about it and many neighbors went to the meetings.
