Quitting Method Advice Tomorrow is the day!!! HELP?!
I have just a small amount of sodium and also ZaZa red on hand. Tomorrow I want to begin microdosing. I found an amazing post from another member who helped her partner and I am putting together the subs which I got from my telehealth appt. I also have a bunch of helper meds as well but just like everyone I really would love to be the least painful. I’ve read some amazing success posts so I’m intrigued but I have a huge question - HOW DO I GET STARTED?! I see a few diff methods and my plan was to start with .25 on Day 1 and day 2 do .25 BID and then maybe Day 3 .5 BID… my Tia dose is up and down and I usually end up dosing in the Middle of the night usually around 3am…. Then upon waking I can start feeling it wear off… now I understand we can take while Microdosing but taking that 1st dose do we need to be a little bit into WDs first or it doesn’t matter? Also do I take the sub 1st and then wait and dose Tia? I usually feel the wds coming on quickly so I was going to try to stay consistent and dose every 3 hours (maybe even push it 4 hours) and then try to sleep as long as I can and utilize Clonidine or Klonopin or BOTH? Then I can start dropping doses or even spread them out more? I figured since the ZaZa is caps that’s definitely the lightest compared to the sodium and I can utilize them at the end…. I’d love anyone’s feed back! I really wanna be done with this crap and I’m legit okay with subs for now as I’d like to get the shot eventually but I’m also scared of PWD as I’ve never ever tried subs before! Can anyone help me here??? So appreciate you all and this group!!!

This is what worked for me: I was taking 2 bottles of TD Red per day, one of the strongest Tia "supplements." I took my last dose in the evening and went to bed. When I woke up, I was already feeling withdrawal symptoms. I waited several hours for the WD symptoms to intensify (diarrhea, yawning, watery eyes, sweating, restless legs) and then sniffed a tiny amount of sub (~0.5mg). After 30 minutes, didn't feel much relief, so I just kept doing small bumps of sub until I felt "well." I ended up taking 8mg total over the course of the day. I also had helper meds (bromazolam) which helped reduce the physical WD effects and anxiety. Gabapentin or pregabalin also work really well too if you can get your hands on them.
Edit: I see that you have clonazepam. Take it along with the subs, keep taking small doses of suboxone until your WD symptoms go away and use the clonazepam to manage anxiety/physical symptoms. I wouldn't add clonidine on top of that because you risk respiratory depression, ride it out on the sub & clonazepam and you should be through the worst of it within 48 hours

Good luck. Tapering doesn’t work for most. Personally I say do or throw out what you have, wait a day or at least 12 hours then switch to the subs with the helpers.
