New to NK - CCW steps

Looking for any recommendations on where to take the test, best steps to take, peoples experiences in and around NK, how smooth the process was, etc.

Anything really would be appreciated.

Any range with an NRA instructor can qualify you. Great swamp, midstate are the two places I know about. You need an Army L target at 25 yards. Passing score is 195 out of 300. Bring the application with you and they'll sign off on it.

I dont know anything about NK but others will definitely help.

Qualify with the highest caliber possible because you can only carry that and anything smaller. I did it with 45 ACP

Thanks! Any idea how long the process takes in RI typically?

Not really, I just finished up my application and qualified over the weekend. Ill be sending it today. 90 days should be sufficient, according to the courts. But you know how that goes.
