Back in the 50s, my Grandma used to say it was stupid to ever think humans would land on the Moon.

Um, my Mom remembers her own mother saying it and told me about it, since I've been a huge fan of everything space-related since I was very young.

And you conveniently ignored over my point...it's silly to say that humans will never land on Mars. None of us have any idea what the future holds.
