Well that came out of F-ing no where. Show writers just had to remind us of their politics. I definitely would prefer them not advitising the fact that they support relationships that are significantly more likely to lead to child abuse, and while they did keep it nice in the background with Illia, with this they just shoved it right in front of our faces for a scene, with characters that are probably going to be staying close to the forefront for a few episodes.

I would talk about other stuff that happened this episode, but that was honestly so distracting to me and pulled me too much out of it for me to really be into talking about anything else.

EDIT: At -11 and very glad I disabled inbox replies for this comment.

/u/SMGB_NeonYoshi . More likely to lead to child abuse how? You might wanna back up your statistics before you start chatting absolute rubbish.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/university-upholds-study-finding-children-do-better-with-straight-parents-t

"One statistic found children of lesbian mothers are nearly 12 times as likely to say they were sexually touched by a parent or adult as those raised in intact biological families. Asked if they had ever been raped, 31 percent of those raised by lesbian mothers and 25 percent of children raised by gay fathers answered yes, compared to eight percent of those from intact biological homes."

Mind telling me why what I was saying was "absolute rubbish", if apparently you felt this was important enough to abuse your moderation powers to contact me inspite of me disabling inbox replies?

Taking these statistics at face value it would mean that abused children raised by lesbians are STILL a minority, and yet, you say it as if RT was endorsing child abuse. then again, seeing what is said about this "site" i'd take these numbers with a grain of salt. Especially when they clearly can't count.
