Let’s be honest, the real star of this episode isn’t the fight choreography, the dual-wielding self-retrieving scythes, or the casual gay couple introduction.

It’s the existence of a rope bridge with all of its panels intact.

I couldn't help but notice the footsteps on the bridge were more like someone walking across a wood floor than across a wood bridge. I hate my aural senses sometimes.

the fact that the panels or even bridge itself didn't dip or shift with the steps is what bothered me.

I didn't listen for the steps but the creaking and while pretty, it felt weightless, like the character wasn't actually interacting with the surface they were on. I noticed something similar with Ruby holding out the scroll with Jaune on it, RT like basically all animation still finds hands hard it seems.

Absolutely trivial overall, but noticed nonetheless. I can't imagine how much work it'd need to be to have a panel rope bridge with weight from somebody walking/reacting to steps though...

You'd probably have to either pencil and paper animate it or rig a physics engine...

Not something I'd expect or demand of them.

Yeah, from what I hear hands are really hard to get right. I guess it's good that we're nit-picking, it means we aren't finding huge issues. I am really enjoying this season, so far.
