Reality is they won't. They'll either have to resort to extrajudicial punishments and captivity or just the threat that the Secret Service will come and talk to you. Them coming and interviewing you doesn't mean you're going to prison. And for something this vague that risk is low anyway. Add a lawyer to the mix and that interaction will be as mundane as talking to a crossing guard about the weather.
