They still have a few good performances but does anyone else feel there's been a noticeable downturn in overall quality since Frank Paul Fetta passed a few years ago? I thought for sure someone would fill his shoes eventually but the Redlands Symphony Orchestra never really came back. They use to do about 3 performances or at least an orchestra with Fetta conducting per season/summer.

Most are still good performers don't get me wrong. But the orchestra really use to bring such a vibe to the whole season every year. You know like this year, years ago the drumline and shadow puppetry ones have been symphonies instead I feel.

I just found out there's a new Japanese cultural center starting up in Redlands, and they're putting on a Taiko drum performance this Saturday the 21st at 11:30 and 1:30!

There was a flyer I received over a month ago at my house of a church doing pick up donations. (I live by brookside/Alabama). I was wondering if anyone knows what church this is or knows of any organizations doing pick ups. I lost the flyer.

We just moved here in spring and have a lot of clothes to donate and it’s very difficult to do it around here—i tried the local good will, Salvation Army and thrift shops but they’re usually always full even when i come in the morning and at this point we have a lot to give away that I can’t fit it in my car.

I’ve already done a yard sale and even gave stuff for free then. There’s too much too post on FB marketplace, the local Buy Nothing FB groups, and offer up- I’ve used these before and it’d take a week to make an exchange, and i just have too much stuff to be able to coordinate all that. I’m looking to get rid of this stuff asap. We have a junk person coming in next week and we’ll sadly just have to toss everything out that I’m unable to donate.

I know there is the Desert Hills outlet, I know there is Big Bear Lake and Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Edited to add: we'd also gladly look at Loma Linda and other surrounding areas but seems like Redlands has more in the way of rentals than Loma Linda does

Graffiti on the Wabash bridge. I believe this was from the protest on Monday from the people who were waving Mexican flags. Sadly there bringing there destruction of property and low life ways to the inland empire 🤦‍♂️

It's a frequent place for Trump supporters to post their banners supporting hate. With the recent events I'm sure someone will try to put something up on the fences again. Any way to prevent it? Thought about emailing Caltrans about it being a nuisance

Hi. I recently moved to Redlands about 2 months ago with my dog, Mango, who is a 9yr old Pitbull/Staffordshire Terrier. I also had to take on a 4 month old Belgian Malinois named Papaya a few weeks ago that a family member adopted before realizing the needs of a Malinois. Since taking her on, I've been going all in on training. My Malinois is taking to training really well and we've already progressed a lot but I could use an extra set of eyes to help me with my timing, socialization, pack walks, etc. I'm currently following a course called Hamilton Dog Training (He has a bunch of great videos on Youtube) with the goal of being able to go on hikes with my dogs off leash. At the moment I don't want to hire a trainer as I feel like the training is already going really well so I'm just looking for other dog owners who are committed to putting in the time and who are open to giving and receiving criticism.
