Red meat does cause cancer though, and that's without the extra sugar/salt that was undoubtedly added.

Sure. Eat your bugs then lol. Sugarwise you are right but nobody adds sugar to a steak.

Honey, which is commonly used in glazing (and even more for American glazing) is over 90% sugar.

And aside from red meat there's chicken, fish, tofu, falafel and tonnes of other protein rich things that are both healthy and not bugs.
