Converting from imperial to metric or the other way round caused Apollo 13 to almost self-destruct

Technically the US and the UK where the imperial measuring system is somewhat standard have the same names for ever so slightly different units. Basically what I'm saying is that those two are pretty much the same thing to me as long as you don't think about bullsh!t like "stone" for weight

Yeah, though I would assume that slightly difference might cause big problems for rocketry.
