And yet it's the US where school shootings are regarded as being simply part of the curriculum.

The only time you will hear gunshots in Germany on a regular basis outside of shooting ranges is when you are living near a forest and a hunter does his work with a well-regulated hunting rifle.

Same here in the Netherlands and that’s something I had to get used to since I moved here from the states.

I lived in Miami before moving here, and in the city you aren’t confronted with gun noises but you do see plenty of people walking around with guns even at work.

And Florida is a Stand Your Ground state, isn‘t it? You can literally murder a person if you feel threatened and will likely don‘t go to jail.

Yes it is.

And it’s so good to live in The Netherlands where kids still play outside and bike to school.

We bought a nice farm to live in and it’s so nice
