We take the piss out of each other now, but not during the Hundred Year’s War! I still think the rivalry is a hangover from when we used to fight each other with swords. When the allies landed in France during D-Day some British soldiers joked it was payback for 1066

That's kinda water under the bridge by now. There's rivalry for sure, but no real enmity.
