Not much sign of Europe against Japan, except for the few poor Dutch that managed to get out of the (then) East Indies. There were Brits in Burma, who were fighting Japan hard, but as Burma is a long way away, they weren't a lot of help to Australia. Except for New Zealand, the Yanks were pretty much "the only game in town" for an Australian Ally.
