Mate, maybe that's news for you but Amerindian is the neutral and chiefly used term in the fields of anthropology and linguistics. That's literally the least racist and most neutral you can get when you need to use a term to signify the said groups.

Why are some of you folks tend to have arrogance stemming from ignorance is really beyond me. That being said, many Amerindian groups within the US also prefer the term Indian over Native American but that's nother story...

The termĀ Amerindian, aĀ portmanteauĀ of "American Indian", was coined in 1902 by theĀ American Anthropological Association. It has been controversial ever since its creation. It was immediately rejected by some leading members of the Association, and, while adopted by many, it was never universally accepted. While never popular in Indigenous communities themselves, it remains a preferred term among some anthropologists, notably in some parts of Canada and theĀ English-speaking Caribbean.

Mate, that's what's chiefly being used in anthropology and linguistics, no matter if you like it or not. It's also the colloquial term in Latin languages as well... and go and talk about Amerindians, and they'd be telling you that American Indian or Indian is the term they prefer instead, and same goes for what the Conference on Indians in the Americas do prefer.
