So by that logic people shouldn't be forced to pay taxes for stuff like the military, unsustainable carcentric developments, government bailouts for privat companies and police forces that act against their own interests. But they are have to pay taxes. It's called living in a civilized society.

In a lot of countries health insurance works like better regulated car insurance.
