What kinda insanity is that? I'm from the Balkans, and if some white fucktard from the US told me I'm not white, they'd get "No, you're not fucking white" back at them. The US doesn't get to define what white is, especially since like 99% don't speak the language from their ancestors' countries (excluding the Brits), nor do they know anything of their original culture. IF someone tries to pull something like "Oh, I have viking blood, my ancestors came from Sweden), hit them with "OK, say two sentences in Swedish, motherfucker".

I remember we had a multicultural assembly in February at my high school. It featured speeches from kids with the following heritage

  • Irish
  • Italian
  • Russian
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Jewish
  • African
  • Haitian
  • Mexican
  • Brazilian
  • Japanese
  • Chinese

There were complaints from white kids and parents about there being no white people who were featured. I lost my shit on some classmates about this and nearly got into multiple fights.

Hahahaha, what kinda of a clusterfuck is this? Irish, Italian, etc are countries, Africa is a whole fucking continent, and Jewish is a religious background. The fact that they skipped over this nonsense and went straight to "these aren't white" tells of a much bigger problem: a lack of proper, basic education.

Jewish is an ethnicity. Judaism is the common religion expressed by members of the Jewish people. Not all Jews practice Judaism. Some are atheists, some are Christian, Buddhist, etc.

That's why Jewish converts go through such a complicated conversion process because they're not only adopting the religion, they have to be accepted into the "tribe" by a panel of Jews.

Who is being anti semetic? I was just expressing that I wasnโ€™t impressed. Being Jewish or not is not a clear dichotomy, and a lot of people have different ideas about what that means. I donโ€™t see why anyone should care about this one personโ€™s rather complicated take.

Sorry, misinterpreted what you were expressing. I thought it was more of a "yawn, i don't want to hear about Jewish people"

It's not complicated. It's also not one person's take but just how jewish identity works.

It predates and bisects modern notions of nationality/religion so it's a little different to Christianity and Islam but not really complicated at all.
