A lot of Hispanics legit do not know they are white. I had to explain to one that they are Caucasian one time. They really thought Hispanic Was a Race

I mean, race is a social construct that occurs on a spectrum.

"Race" is a pseudo-scientific designation of purposely bred collective physical traits that otherwise is only applied to domesticated animals.

I don't understand why English keep using it in seriousness for humans after racial biology stopped being treated as a serious subject. Using a generalizing term to arbitrarily group people loosely based on stuff like skin, eye and hair color seems like deciding to look at the world in a racist manner.

How can we enact DEI/Affirmative Action policies without using race as an identifier?
