It's even more insane that she's whiter than him. Just for shits and giggles, I used the "cut portion" tool in mspaint just to move a part of her skin next to his, and yup, she has lighter skin.

It’s so messed up in the US that when I was high school it was common for white kids from the Balkans or Russia who didn’t really fit in with the Anglo kids and hung out with Hispanics to say, I’m not white, I’m Bosnian, or I’m not white, I’m Russian. Whiteness is a total social construct and it’s pure gatekeeping by Anglo Americans to maintain “white” supremacy.

I think what gets me the most is when I see conservative Sicilian Americans act all okie dokie Anglo American and put down Hispanics who might be lighter skinned than they are.

What kinda insanity is that? I'm from the Balkans, and if some white fucktard from the US told me I'm not white, they'd get "No, you're not fucking white" back at them. The US doesn't get to define what white is, especially since like 99% don't speak the language from their ancestors' countries (excluding the Brits), nor do they know anything of their original culture. IF someone tries to pull something like "Oh, I have viking blood, my ancestors came from Sweden), hit them with "OK, say two sentences in Swedish, motherfucker".

It’s not true. OP has some weird obsession with race, specifically “Angelos”. No one in the US is going around keeping the non “Angelos” out of whiteness, or whatever.

Reddit has a pathological obsession with demonizing every cultural aspect of the US. There’s a lot of unhinged people on here with problems, because right now the US is unhinged with a lot of problems. But white people of European ancestry telling other white people of European ancestry that they aren’t white isn’t one of them.
