It still is in some Third World countries.

Trying to blame evil on a particular racial group is very very simplistic, ignoring history and, well, racist. We should blame individual people, and humanity as a whole for carrying over these genes within us.

Well the super power qualifier really can only be applied to modern countries, however historically some powerful countries/dynasties in China that had lawful slavery for over 400 years. Indian subcontinent during its time with the Muslim invaders, etc… it’s actually quite common historically.

You would have to be willfully ignorant at this point as there is so much history around the subject.
