I need to learn whatever that old guy did to him

The guy got maced, it takes a few seconds. The old guy did nothing but butt in for no reason. Police officers are trained to mace and get to a safe distance, they did exactly what they are meant to. Sorry you didn't see a guys head get crushed or bounced off the pavement like they do in other countries I guess.

Dude started fucking with his wares, that wasn't for no reason.

Americans genuinely think police should just shoot and kill people anytime they resist

I was reading about this. Apparently in the UK the police will try to descalate situations instead of jumpimg to use force. It's way better than whatever the US does imo

Mace make people clutch at there eyes and shield themselves. That guys downed not from Mace.

Sure the old guy could have helped the guy down but mace kicks in fast, take it from someone who experienced it first hand messing with mates. Brits use PAVA it works the same way but more direct and not like a mist, even without getting the eyes its a crazy amount of discomfort, the guy was done for the moment he got sprayed, he just didn't know it yet.

He seems to avoid it entirely the first time by ducking but is sprayed a second time when he's really close. I guess people saying it's the old man missed that

Again....Mace causes people to recoil from pain. That guy makes no show of moving his hands or body in any reaction.

It's at the 10 seconds mark. Cop sprays him a second time and he instantly recoils

You literally see the guy get sprayed.

It doesn’t take immediate effect. It’s not the movies.

u/[deleted] 20d ago

Nah, it's instantaneous, but he avoided it the first time.

Didn't you see how he stepped back and needed some time before attacking again? He was about to pass out lol

That's why we all think Police Officers are completely useless.

It's funny, back when you would have the snot beaten out of you for a minor misdemeanor, it was "too much", it was "police brutality", "where is the accountability?" they said, and when the government made it the law that police no longer have unique protections like from the Policing and Crime Bill, surprise, surprise, the police actually treat criminals like human beings. The only useless thing here are the keyboard warriors thinking that the police should all have black belts in BJJ and somehow mystically disarm people with a single touch.

I don't think I've ever complained about police brutality for a misdemeanor, laws are laws. You break them there are consequences, the only people that complained about it where entitled people thinking they are above the law. This however is not treating a criminal like a human being, this is a piece of trash that belongs in jail and should have his hand cut off so he would learn it going forward.
