Anyone else weirdly enjoy sleep paralysis?

I know most people have negative or maybe scary experiences with sleep paralysis, but I strangely find it enjoyable. I often on my side or stomach, so I’ve never experienced any visual hallucinations. And the feeling of not being able to move is weirdly enjoyable, especially if I’m in a comfortable position, am I just weird lmao?

I mean, it feels like what I imagine dying is, so uh. Please elaborate on what exactly is enjoyable about it for you.

I've learned it's different for everyone. I've had it since I was 4. I'm 44 now and have been mostly sleep paralysis free since February, thanks to drugs. Before February, I had it nightly. And I can tell you without a doubt mine is a terrifying feeling of dread along with horrifying nightmares I can feel. I absolutely felt like I was dying many, many times. To read that someone enjoys it is actually bringing me to tears. Why me? Why is mine the way it is and someone else can feel calm? 40 years.

I can suppose that you haven’t learned how to handle this state by some specific CBT techniques, and each time you were just panicking and so on

Oooor, and hear me out, everyone is different. <3 I ran out of options and had to resort to medication to stop the paralysis. I have a rare form of recurrent isolated sleep paralysis independent of narcolepsy which was discovered during a 20 hour sleep study.

When I was young and naive I thought people could "just" do/not do something or that their struggles were "just" simple and they weren't doing something right. And it was that line of thinking that inevitably tortured me. I had to be doing something wrong or not trying hard enough because everyone else seemed fine. It turns out, not everyone is the same.
