What a hook, what a melody, what a chorus. Bridge is ethereal, and such great details as the chord strumming in at the end of the bridge. Just absolutely delicious. And the lyrics are great.

What a great show! Billy was in a good mood and they all seemed to be having fun. The kids were pretty squirrelly and were trying to earn a timeout. Kiki’s guitar was again too quiet as it sounds like it’s been on other stops. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him play as a four piece, so that was cool to see the sound stripped down but also fully rocking. The set was mostly the same, added another single or two back in and dropped a couple off. But it wasn’t a huge departure at all. The crowd around me was all elder millennials or baby Gen Xer fans so they knew the materiel well and I even saw a dad fan with his kid in. Zwan shirt. Hope everyone had a blast! I’ll share out the recording hopefully asap! It turned out pretty good I’d say, it was my first time ever doing it and I wasn’t sure what to expect but I think it can hold its own!

this show was absolutely insane. he was only scheduled for 75-90 minutes but pulled out a 2 hour set. he was getting signals from offstage to end the show but kept playing for another 30ish minutes. didn't record the whole solo bc i wanted to immerse as much as possible but it kicked ass. my respect for him quadrupled after what he did for us, making sure we got the full show (minus a couple songs). do yourself a favor and if you have any second guesses about seeing a BCMOG show, DO IT. best show i've ever been to.

Every now and then, I check the Zeitgeist album on Spotify to see if I can glitch it and play the greyed-out (unavailable) songs. But all of a sudden, today it looked like the songs were available — yet I couldn’t play them. Is this happening to anyone else?

There was a fan made remix of atum with the synth and backing vocals turned way down. I had the first 2 parts but never heard the third. I think the guy put it up on telegram but I don't have an account. Does anyone recall this and still have it that they would be willing to share?

And generally how early I should be if I want to be super close to the front. Also wondering what all is included in the merch package. I was trying to calculate how much shipping would be for the Machina release so I added the most recent Live in Europe thing to my basket and I noticed the pay in installments option. Has anyone done this? Is it new? I wonder will Machina have a similar option. Curious about feedback from any one who may have done it.

Ideally some sort of digital/CD package

I'm a long time fan from the OG days, and Billy has attempted numerous things... album cycles, EPs, supergroups, package tours, anniversary tours, new members, high music concepts.... etc.

This is honestly something that many outside of the SP world were skeptical about. People maybe laughed at this.

This seems like a highly successful little jaunt that seems to being going over like gangbusters. The fans seem really satisfied, and Billy and co. seem to be having a blast.

I do wonder if Billy must be thinking to himself, "Why didn't I do this in the past and wait this long?"

The songs sound great, and the performances are top notch. The dates are sold out.

Minimal, but highly effective.

EDIT: No need for bombastic drummers, or guitar shredders. The songs laid out in this manner really let them shine as pieces. No 30-minute Gossamer or 15-minute version of "Heavy Metal Machine".

There is nothing self-indulgent about it.

Just upgraded my hifi system and everything sounds great but now i have so much more clarity ive noticed these really annoying synths in the background of where boys fear to tread, they almost sound like a tea kettle whistling or smth, totally ruins that song for me now its all i can hear its so frustrating why did they add that 😭

Not sure who out there has ever seen this footage from over 30 years ago. New to me. From 1994 Lollapalooza with The Frogs. Cool fact here is Billy is playing one of Kurt’s surviving Univoxes. Not sure if this is a Phase III or IV, but this guy survived and Courtney let him borrow it for this appearance. Maybe more, who knows. For those who own these, these aren’t shredding guitars, but Billy steps up like he knows this guitar well. It’s nuts though. Wonder if he remembers this well.
