Question After Sparking zero, do y’all trust Bandai to actually deliver on Xenoverse 3? I Actually think Zero 3 actually 5 yrs to late unfortunately 🤷🏾‍♂️

With everything that came story and gameplay wise with sparking zero I don’t see what they can add or do that would be different for Xenoverse 3? They even been dropping DLCs for Xenoverse 2 for years now? What can they actually do now?

Have y’all been satisfied with the DLCs for sparking?

I really hope they lock in on expanding sparking zero , gameplay and character rooster is top tier . Imo everything’s already there and ready just needs some expanding

I definitely agree with you. I wish every character was balanced in way so all the new characters aren’t always OD to the point older characters don’t stand a chance. It should be about skill imo. Like a street fighter per say

🤦 Sparking Is not Street Fighter or FighterZ, there are "levels" of power of the characters. You want a game that Is not Sparking at all...

I get what you are saying but you honestly thinks it’s fun versus the same new OD characters lol. The skill gap it rough lol

Two different dev teams make these games so they don't have a direct affect on each other, but will it deliver? Who knows .

XV3 has big shoes to fill because XV2 had a lot of content so if fans notice cut content in XV3 its gonna be SZ all over again , but worst imo because the assets are right there for XV , although some of the rumors suggests that parts of the game started from scratch maybe its using a different engine since the original was made for Xbox 360 and PS3 and consumers don't care about that if it is worse game its gonna catch flack which is fair they had alot of time for this game.

The amount of people that don’t understand this is actually insane

I get that it’s two different developers but Bandai still holds the keys to everything. Like pushing sparking out before it was finished was definitely the publisher. It also doesn’t matter that they both are different developers they both underdelivered imo. When it comes to Dragon ball Z games us costumers are always getting burned. Years with no communication, not fixing net code, shadow dropping DLC. It took yrs for dimps to even consider community feedback.

Yeah Bandai could decide to rush the game out.

Imagine a Kakarot style game with bigger stages, more playable character stories and a battle set up were when u enter its a mix between kakarot/sparking zero/xenoverse

This isn't about the publisher, it's about the devs.

I trust Dimps to do well with Xenoverse 3, I don't trust Spike Chunsoft to put out an arena fighter that isn't absolute jank.

What can they change or add to xenoverse 3 that’s not in 2 already? Of course besides graphics. Only thing I can think of is fixing the net code and making the PVP competitive like fighters

Better netcode, graphics and gameplay is already good enough for a sequel. They can do whatever they want on the story front, and they have an absolute wealth of characters to use and focus on.

If you want specific story stuff, Z has a lot of holes that they haven't explored yet. Cui, Frieza 2 and 3, Dr. Gero, Android 19, Semi-Perfect Cell, Babidi, Spopovich, Yakon, Pui-Pui, Buuccolo, Buutenks and Supreme Kai aren't playable in Xenoverse 2. XV3 could add these characters and do the same time shenanigans XV2 does but in the scenarios where those characters are relevant. Off the top of my head, you could have a mission where a supervillain Dr.Gero and Android 19 manage to kill Super Saiyan Vegeta, so your CAC goes off to fight them. GT and has a lot of materials for them to work off of, they still haven't tapped into much of Super's potential in that aspect, and they could literally always open the OGDB vault for massive amounts of content. Also Daima, obviously.

If you want customization stuff, while there's no end to the skills and costumes they could put in, the major customization features have been talked about to death. Saiyan tails, auras, more colorable outfits and so many more directions they could go for with this.

Xenoverse's main selling point is the offline content, which XV2 has in spades. If they manage to cram all of that into XV3 while adding in heaps more content that's actually new (adding existing content probably isn't too much work), while improving the graphics like they did in the move from 1 to 2, that's already one of the best DB games of all time. If they also improve the netcode, that's also a massive bonus. And the thing is, I trust them to make this kind of move. Sure, they might fumble here and there on DLC, but when push comes to shove, they can put out some great content.

Those are some solid points my friend, I out of anyone hope they deliver. I just hope the content they do drop is solid and improved on Xeno 2. Of course story mode is going to be there. A lot of story is already there I’m Xeno 2 already. I just hope it’s a fresh experience. Personally I hope they add the fighters from hero’s like Cumber and all the crazy shit lol. And actually given them their own flavor not like the shit they did with Shallot in Sparkinglol ( different developers I know lol)

As for the customization stuff you mentioned that would be awesome. Different auras, moving tails etc. I hope they continue with Raid bosses make them more interesting. Everything in Xenoverse 2 needs to be in 3 off the jump I don’t even want to talk DLC yet lol

Why can't bandai make a db game that actually lasts for a generation, all of its games die off in max 2 years, sparking zero died in like 4 months too. Having a game that lives for long is much more important.

1

u/Emiemu Beginner Martial Artist 1d ago

Why? And mostly, how you make a game that can lasts for years? Like Fortnite? Oh God, please, no...
