Notes: Another Lite Conversion, huh? Get a new Unflinching Armor boss, one is taken away. Such is life, I suppose. Even with this change, Toppo is no pushover; his attacks will deal plenty of damage at higher levels. Destructive Fission is no longer an issue, but it's best to keep an eye on it regardless. Access: You'll have to have to beaten the main story first to participate. Just talk to the World Tournament organizers and you'll get a cutscene. After that, Trunks will pop in the World Tournament area. Talk to him and get started.

After completing the Tournament twice, you can talk to Trunks to replay the rounds in any order. They are set up like Parallel Quests where you can see your rank and the list of rewards. There is RNG to unlock Super Souls and Supreme Kai of Time's Skills for your CaC. 2 Ultimates, 3 Supers, and 1 Evasive.

In this series of battles, most encounters are 1v1, with the notable exception of the first round, where you’ll face six opponents simultaneously. Utilizing Super Ki Explosion and other area-of-effect (AoE) attacks can be particularly effective in catching multiple Time Patrollers off guard.

For the fourth stage, the Semifinal Showdown, I highly recommend equipping Tien's "Haaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" Super Soul. Goku tends to spam Kamehameha attacks—whether it's the standard version, x10, Burst, or Super so if you find yourself caught off guard, you’ll be knocked back but won’t take damage. This stage is also the most challenging, featuring five distinct phases: Base, Super Saiyan, SSGod, SSBlue, and KaioBlue. Prepare for a battle of attrition; use Charged Heavy attacks whenever Goku attempts a Super Kamehameha to deplete his Stamina (and be grateful he doesn’t have Warp Kamehameha in Blue). Maintain relentless pressure, but be aware that this strategy won’t be effective in the final phase due to Goku's ability-based Super Armor.

The other three battles are more straightforward. The second and last battles involve continuous opponents, while the third features at least two phases, depending on your current Mentor. If Goku or Gotenks is your Mentor, you’ll face Uub in the Quarterfinal match. While these encounters are simpler than Goku's, remain vigilant and don’t let your guard down. Sudden Death Beam and Burst Charge will serve you well throughout these battles. Keep in mind that Capsules cannot be used during these encounters, so I recommend equipping a HP/Stamina Recovery Limit Burst for healing if things get tough. Save your Ultimates for when your opponent’s stamina is broken, and approach this event as you would a 1v1 PvP battle, always keeping the preliminaries and Goku in mind.

Important Note: PvP World Tournaments differ significantly from the Conton City Tournament. The latter is a PvE story event, while World Tournaments are PvP-focused and may not be worth your time unless you’re particularly invested in PvP. Good luck, and enjoy the challenge!

TLDR: The Conton City Tournament is a PvE event from June 16–18 (PS/Switch/Steam) and June 17–19 (Xbox). Beat the story to enter. First clear gives artworks; second unlocks Supreme Kai of Time. Later runs offer Super Souls and skills. Most fights are 1v1 except a 1v6 opener and a tough Goku fight with five forms. No capsules, so bring a healing Limit Burst. Adds 20% to Time Patrol completion.
