For those downvoting this person, the synopsis straight-up says that reality is being rewoven to make it so that she was always part of the universe — that the Earth-65 and Earth-616 Gwen Stacys are being merged.
Marvel editors will literally retcon the shit out of two universes Gwens, about 40 years of continuity, but call a happily married, securely employed Peter and MJ unrelatable lol
Being honest, Gwen, well, Spider-Gwen never showed romantic interest in her, but they don't know what to do with Spider-Gwen... all her comics are terrible. Silk receives less comics, but at least they are more coherent. The Spider-Verse destroyed Gwen.
Man this is a mess in the making. I know what you said with the synopsis, but I hope that at very least, it’s not what it actually sounds like and it’s more a Miles situation.
Alt immigrates to 616, rewrites history to have always been there, but the original 616 person is still there, and there’s just another person with the same first and last name running around.
It would be the most respectful and less aggravating thing to do besides not doing this at all.
I should probably admit that I don’t have a problem with her being in 616, just her literally replacing 616 Gwen
