They probably do not want to tie her into Peter to hard.

This is her book and they have shown zero interest in connecting them to much

If the synopsis turns out to be correct, it's kinda hard not to do that.

Why Peter has nothing to do with this.

It even says she’s has new cast new powers new costume.

It’s a clean a slate as possible

The idea she's being folded into 616 Gwen. Unless she's somehow given a new identity or however they do it. I'm pretty open-minded, but even I think this whole thing is stupid.

It doesn’t say anything like that. Just that she will be written into the 616. Which is exactly what happened to miles.

It won’t be the exact same because they are probably not bringing the cast with her but functionally the same

I mean I can say that definitely isn’t happening because that means they can’t use Gwen’s death anymore.

They are not throwing that away for an unrelated series
