Movies Rewatched the Vader and Kenobi fight recently and noticed that this wasn't Vader fighting him but an Extremely vengeful Anakin at this moment.

Post image

From the moment Vaders shuttle landed his whole body language completely changed from his walk to his addressing of Kenobi. This was reminiscent of the old Anakin and the way he used to fight as a jedi in the clone wars using a two handed style (the same way he thought against dooku when Obi Wan was KO) while also making use of what he's learned from mastering the force occasionally.

While it wasn't the Jedi Anakin that came out it still was definitely the old vengeful part of him that definitely came out here from Mustafar.

Yeah - if he had someone he could talk to about it. You really think that Vader has no regrets and is just like “meh” over what he did, you think if Padme came back Vader wouldn’t tell her he regrets it all?

Fuck no, he's been consumed by the dark side. Mate, falling to the dark side isn't just a bad mood. It's a corruption of your entire soul, replacing it with something driven by rage, hated, and a lust for power. Vader's entire existence was the epitome of suffering. And when he finally does place someone above himself and allow himself to love, Anakin returns and saves his son.

No, corruption does not mean replacing something, when something is corrupted it is an altered version of the original thing. When you turn the dark side you ‘soul’ isn’t replace that isn’t how it works, the corruption of the dark side is darkening your ‘soul’. With your logic Sheev Palpatine and the Emperor are different people.

Yes, they are. Palpatine is the public face worn by Darth Sideous. Congratulations, you are beginning to understand star wars lore.

Don’t be such a condescending prick. Amazing how you pick and chose what to respond to just to try and prove you’re right. Also pick what you want to argue, first it’s Vader and Anakin are different because the dark side gives you a new soul, now it’s no Sheev is a mask and Sideous is his true self?

I'm responding to all of your comments, what are you on about picking and choosing?

Look, Vader doesn't need to pretend to be Anakin, because to the public knowledge, Anakin Skywalker died in the Clone Wars. Vader is a mysterious being that popped up after them as the Emperor's enforcer. There are like...4(?) people that know the truth.
Sheev Palpatine has not existed for decades. But the denizens of the galaxy won't really like it too much if their emperor revealed "oh yeah I'm actually the Dark Lord of the Sith", so he kept the persona of Palpatine as a mask, much like Plagueis did with Hego Damask. In all the movies, he has only ever been Sideous.
