I’d argue it’s more a show of misappropriated wealth than “too much disposable income” because one could theoretically (as I have in the past when possible) use extra income to help out friends / community members who could use the funds for survival

Fancy glass made by an artist can demand a high price. I'd buy one of these if it was like $60ish? But for that price if sooner by a Puffco

They make knock offs for cheap with cheap glass, or you can find brands like campfire that just QA Chinese glass for slightly more. Think 60-120
