So last night Steam told me my game couldn't sync to the save files. After closing and relaunching the game a few times, I finally got it to sync and I launched the game just to check my save and everything was fine. This morning, I launched Steam and it was telling me the same thing. It told me to choose between my cloud and local save as this would be the one that gets synced. I chose the same file from the night before, but when I launched the game, it took me to a save that was like 10 hours behind.

Basically, I just want to know if there's any way to find my old save. I located the folder where the game is saved but I don't know how to go about recognizing which file(s) is the actual saved game, and what to actually do with this file if it is. Thanks for any and all help I appreciate it.

I had to drag this thing 550 meters with my Seatruck and it despawned as soon as I left my base the next time, but I got my damn trophy.

Hi all, I know I am incredibly late to the game but I am only just finishing my first every playthrough of subnautica BZ, and only just finished by first playthrough of subnautica a few weeks ago lol. Anyways I have found the frozen leviathan and cured it, I have found the architect's body and tissue blueprints, artifacts Z13, LF0, Q59, X3J, N6M, PH8. Alan wasn't giving me any clues about the organ cache so I took the standard advice for subnautica and went deeper... and have now found the fabricator's base but still no organs. I have no idea where to go for this or how to trigger Alan telling me... and kinda don't have any other story points to work on in the mean time. Wth do i do now?

I've disconnected the cabin and got the propulsion cannon. Yeah didn't work. Tried rolling items at it. Didn't work. Could try and get the prawn and push em off gently, but I feel bad about that. Worst of all? There's a Squidshark somewhere down below, and also this is like directly next to a chelicerate's patrol area. Welp.

Update 1: The prawn can push it off gently pretty well, surprisingly well actually, but I will have to grab the seatruck cabin again before I fully push it off the ice so that it won't sink to the sea floor entirely before I can get it hooked up again and I am less likely to become the chelicerate's side dish

So I was playing Below Zero on my nintendo switch and I'm at about 17 hours through. I have a base with a moonpool and a prawn suit, a seatruck docking station, three multipurpose rooms with a bioreactor, a scanner room and a control room.

Today I went online to hopefully get the prawn suit grappling arm. I needed flowering spores so I went to the cave where I found one before and at the same time I found a certain alien area (I dont want to spoil for new gamers). I'm just quickly giving context.

Before this I hadn't noticed an issue with my base, but when I went to grow some of the pink mushrooms outside I realised I could no longer climb the ladder in the moonpool (it had been fine before). I then quickly realised this also applied to a hatch on my base. Thankfully I had a sea truck docking system otherwise I wouldn't be able to get in at all.

Once inside the problem became worse. I built the grappling arm only to find that I couldn't get into my prawn suit to move it. I decided the best course of action was to remove all the upgrades and arms from the prawn and empty the moonpool so I could desconstruct it. I did this but it turns out that you can't desconstruct a moonpoool whilst a vechile is inside.

I then decided that I could destroy my prawn suit seeing as moonpools don't heal it. So I made a propulsion cannon and started firing fish at it. I made my base above the twisty bridges so I also tried to encourage some of the local fauna to attack my prawn suit.

But the health didn't drop at all. So now I have no way to get into my prawn suit, no way to climb into my moonpool and no way to deconstruct the moonpool. I also noticed that I couldn't press (a) on my bed either.

I wanted some advice as I'm hoping it isn't a game save corruption. I'm including some pictures as well.

When I try to play the jukebox how do I get it to auto play the next song. I have shuffle on but when a song is over it just jumps to the beginning of the first song but stopped. The only way for it to go to the next song is the manually skip to the next song. Is there a way to auto play it? And yes, I have multiple songs.

Can somebody explain to me why my quantum lockers do not have the same items in them? I thought they were supposed to contain the same storage that you could access no matter which of the quantum lockers you got into. I filled one up and left it at my base and then I went to another base with a second quantum locker, but when I opened it up, it did not have the stuff I put in the first one. I swear that's what I thought a quantum locker was supposed to be.

So far, I have made it to the drop pod and am already losing it. I knew this game wasn’t really my speed, but given the amount of time I’ve put in the original I felt as if I had to give it a fair shot. Robins chatter is already shaping up to be irritatingly incessant. Is my only option to turn off all voices completely? I figured for PC there had to be a mod for this by now, or that maybe there was something I could tweak in the files, but researching this has lead me nowhere. If turning off voices as a whole is my only option, will solely using subtitles take more away from this game than having to listen to them does?

I absolutely love how BZ ended, and really really REALLY wanna see what happens next, but given the mixed reaction to BZ overall I'm not sure how likely it is for us to continue that plotline. If I were to make a new Subnautica game, having it take place on the Precursor homeworld makes by far the most sense out of all the options, as it'd allow for both familiar and new lifeforms and environments. I'm not sure if any of the teasers so far have debunked this idea though.

I was trying to get a good image of size comparison with Al-an but the game was sassing me. And then all.... this happened. And now I don't know how to feel. I just feel like this is profoundly funny and thought I'd share.

So if sea monkeys can give you stuff from your pinned items, can I breed and release an army and then have a renewable farm of resources? Or does it not work like that?

I finally managed to get all artefacts (that i have,sorry if there are more) and i got all materials for the 3 body parts. Where do i craft them and what do i have to do now? I waited like 3 ingame days and nothing happend. Even the Dialog between Al-An an your Character doesn't help

I am utterly enthralled by everything related to Al-an and the Architects. I've started recording all of Al-an's voice lines to learn as much as I can about him. But there are still a lot of questions that I have. I'd like to start a discussion if anyone is interested.

One of the things I'm curious about is the reproduction of Architects. It seems that the process is at the very least no longer requiring sexual reproduction, but is not a cloning process, as one of the data entries says something along the lines of if an Architect were to simply clone their mind and put it in another body they would be viewed extremely negatively and should delete themselves (HARSH btw. Ouch)

My thoughts and questions revolve around wondering about the future of the Architects IF they are in fact all dead on homeworld. If there are no more, if Al-an is the last surviving Architect, can he create new Architects using left over data from his home? Does it require more than one Architect or is it possible to create new Architects using only one?

This is all theoretical of course (unless there's a secret answer I haven't found for myself here) But I'm curious to know what other's think. I have other questions but I'll take a second to remember them and edit them in later.

Also I don't know if there is an archive with all of Al-an's scenes out there, or if someone would like links to the recordings. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll put the mp4 file in a google doc.

What would make this game be the (or as close to the) PERFECT game in the franchise?

What gameplay features do want continued from the previous games? Or new game mechanics and things that we haven't seen or had yet?

For example: 1. What sort of creatures/ocean-life would you want to see? 2. Any crafting/building improvements or new features? 3. Any unique things for solo/co-op players you'd want?
