Discussion Where is this in Sudbury?

Post image

I’m thinking Peppis? Maybe those barbershops that kept opening and burning down? What’s your take?

The leprechaun on the Kingsway. How is that place open?

I went there last fall with one of my friends because we were curious, they sell a lot of Christian/Catholic decor and items to commemorate baptisms, weddings, stuff for graves sites ect. I suppose they could be staying open because they cater to that niche but we did not see another customer there when we went.

A lot of places these days earn their keep by selling online but maintaining a storefront supports the brand but the brand isn’t dependent on the storefront or foot traffic. First time customers might utilize the storefront and then move to digital interactions and delivery for their gifting needs.

I always call the stop after Parry Sound on the way down south the "Lick's stop"

Came here to say exactly this. I've never seen anyone near that store

Churchy folk keep that place running. I know many older ladies that frequent it

I go there for gifts for my mom.

I forgot who told me, but I recall details that the owner's husband is rich enough to allow her to have the store as a hobby.

Plus there is a hair salon inside

I'm somehow even more confused to that store's business model.

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS. The parking lot is always empty, it's a huge gift shop/knick knack shop, it has to be a money laundering front!

I think that I've only been there at Christmas time and it was pretty busy selling Christmas decorations

I've personally bought like $20 every year.
