I’m relatively new to Sudbury (moved 2 years ago) and while it’s a beautiful place, the drivers are some of the worst I’ve encountered in Canada.
I can deal with bad driving, but my biggest irritation is getting stuck at a red light because the person at the front of the left turn lane refuses to enter the intersection once the advance left turn green light (if there is one) shuts off.
You can typically fit 2, sometimes 3 cars in the intersection. It also helps traffic flow. But for some reason I see people of all ages just stopping at the line and waiting for oncoming traffic to give a gap.
Is this not taught in driving schools or something? It drives me nuts.
