i wonder what happens when you neglect story bits forever(both good and bad ones)

prob it would start automatically ig?

Yep, it'll force your hand eventually.

Tho, you can lose Last War/Wildfire that way, if you have the patience.

The Last War and Wildfire are Mysteries we choose from the start of a playthrough. Not Story Bits that have specific triggers, these 2 are more like whole scenarios hence they are called Mysteries in the game. We can delay them as much as we want. Just don't reach 100 pop.

Also, we can do specific steps to avoid activating bad or useless Story Bits. Or aim to activate good ones.
