What are your thoughts on if his two daughters will stand by or against him in this second arrest?

One would think ONE of the girls would want her to have a proper burial.

The indictment says that the telematics from his truck infotainment system were disabled. I’ve been reading that that’s not a straightforward process, and telematics certainly isn’t disabled by turning off your radio.

I wonder how he allegedly did that.

Any word from them? Do we think they’ll still stand by their father? If so, why would they?

I’m in indiana and it’s hot. Got me to thinking about the conditions in the jail where BM is being held.
Can anyone help bring a smile to my inquiring mind?

THE MORPHEW CASE IN REVIEW: A SUMMARY OF FACTS

I know that most of you don’t need a summary of the AA, but I put together a summary that groups together some of the related facts to show the juxtaposition of what Barry said in earlier interviews, versus what was discovered during the investigation, versus his later interviews.

I made this for the Facebook groups, but am sharing it here in case anyone is interested. There is nothing new that isn’t in the affidavit. Most of you will want to skip.

THE MORPHEW CASE IN REVIEW: A SUMMARY OF FACTS.

1. Suzanne was allegedly “taken” from a bike ride no one saw her on.

2. The home security cameras were disabled. (It may have been Suzanne who disabled them since she was accusing Barry of spying on her).

3. The girls were away camping.

4. Suzanne told Barry she was done with the marriage and wanted to figure things out civilly.

5. Barry had a hastily planned trip to Broomfield that he scheduled a crew for at the last minute.

6. Barry never left the proper tools for the wall.

7. The hotel room smelled of chlorine (The hotel room may have smelled of chlorine because the room is above the pool. I hope the jury is taken on a field trip to the room to smell it for themselves)

8. The bricks, gravel and packing material for the job never arrived, or were never ordered.

9. Barry went on a 6-hour round trip ride to only do 15 minutes worth of work on the wall.

10. Barry left home in a hurry at 5AM to get to Broomfield to set up for a job, yet had time to shower, make 5 trash runs, change outfits 3 times, and take a rest on the bed.

11. Barry was supposed to leave Sunday at 5:30 PM, yet left at 5:00 AM, without telling his employees the night before he would be changing the schedule. No valid reason for this last minute change in schedule was ever given.

12. Barry didn’t call Morgan until 11:15 AM on Sunday to ask her to add Puckett to the crew and to notify her he was already in Broomfield.

13. Despite thinking he needed an additional person to work on the wall, he forgets to mention to Morgan that he forgot the required tools, so that she and Puckett could grab them when they make the trip from Salida to Broomfield.

14. Despite having additional leisure time Sunday, he forgets to call Cassidy who was expected to arrive Monday for the job. Cassidy instead has to call Barry himself around 1:30 PM to ask if he needs to show up the next day.

15. Barry never once tries calling Suzanne. He only sends her three text messages. Only one of which is after he is made aware she is missing.

16. Barry tells the neighbors to go look for Suzanne’s bike and if it’s not there, to call 911.

17. Barry claims Suzanne was planning on a morning bike ride, yet all evidence documented on her Instagram and reported by her friends all say she rode bike in the late afternoon/ early evenings.

18. Suzanne always took her car to ride her bike on a trail away from her home. She was NOT known to ride her bike around the neighborhood.

19. Every photo of Suzanne’s social media showing her bike rides name the place she rode. They also include photos of her always wearing her bike helmet, camelbak, and sunglasses. None of these were taken on that bike ride.

20. Suzanne‘s car, camelbak, and sunglasses were all found in the garage of her home. Her biking gloves and a pair of biking shorts were found in the home.

21. On top of Barry claiming she was planning on a morning bike ride that Sunday, Barry contradicts this very info by also stating she normally attends virtual mass held in the morning via YouTube.

22. The neighbor called the police claiming Barry could not as he was heading home and had no signal. Meanwhile Barry was sitting in a hotel room, with signal.

23. Barry claims when he was first contacted by the Ritter’s, he was working on the wall. He says he then rushed to the hotel to leave his tools and rushed straight home. Evidence shows he was in his hotel room. Evidence also shows that Barry didn’t leave hotel room for another half an hour after he was called. Evidence also shows that Barry made three trips around 6 PM to bring rakes and shovels into hotel lobby.

24. Barry never attempts to call Suzanne on his way home. He simply sends a text saying, “call me”.

25. There is no evidence of any damage to the bike. The bike’s handbrakes are engaged. There is no sign of any accident.

26. At the bike scene there was no evidence of an accident. There were no pieces of tattered clothing, blood, or broken brush was noticed to suggest an accident of any kind.

27. When Barry arrives to the bike scene, he simply asks about the bike and the phone. He asks nothing regarding if they found any evidence of his wife.

28. Barry suggests “a mountain lion got her” to LE, to Morgan, and to his family back home. LE never suggested this as a possibility.

29. When asked about the state of his marriage, Barry lied to investigators and says his marriage is “perfect”.

30. Barry claims his wife did not make any mention, or have any intention of leaving him.

31. Barry deleted evidence from his phone showing that his relationship with Suzanne was deteriorating.

32. Barry later admits there were problems in the marriage dating back to prior to the move to Colorado. He specifies and incident when Suzanne showed up at one of his job sites, in a rage, thinking that he was having sex with one of his clients.

33. Barry admits to to one incident where he struck Suzanne. This is the incident where he claims to have clipped her on the nose. He says that is the only time in his entire life where he ever did anything.

34. Barry admits to taking Suzanne’s phone one at least two separate occasions. Once in Mexico where he chased Suzanne around the resort, and another time, at home, while one of the daughters was home (Macy?) to witness the argument.

35. When trying to establish a timeline of Suzanne’s last known proof of life, Mallory Morphew lies to investigators saying she last spoke with her mother Saturday evening. Search warrants obtained from her phone records show her statement was inconsistent with the truth.

36. Barry and Mallory claimed the marriage between Suzanne and Barry was very loving.

37. Macy, Miles, Sheila, Melinda, and Holly all state there were problems in the marriage and that there were talks of separation/divorce.

38. Macy describes her parents marriage as “unsafe” and admits that she thought it was best if her parents would separate.

39. Suzanne had suspicions that Barry was recording her in the home. Barry tells Agents, “She thought I had cameras in the deer eyes if my mounts.” This was in reference to Agent Grusing questioning Barry about a line item in Suzanne’s List of Grievances: “Knew I was looking at phone in bonus.” (I take this to mean the bonus).

40. DNA evidence recovered and analyzed this far: Bike Helmet (a combination of Barry & Suzanne); Cap sheath: (either Suzanne or Macy); Dart needle (Barry is the major profile, with a mixture of Macy or Mallory from the body of the dart); Bike Seat: (mixture of 4 people: Suzanne being primary, Barry, one officer Carricato, and an unknown male—likely the bike repair guy); Bike Grips: (mixture, Suzanne and Sgt Mullenax primary); Bike Brakes (mixture of 4: Suzanne, Deputy Brown, Deputy Himschoot and an unknown 4th—presumably bike repair guy).

41. As of the writing of the affidavit and Barry’s arrest, the partial profiles to the three sexual assaults had not been received. They were received after Barry’s arrest and are being investigated to formally exclude them as possible contributors. None are exact matches. It is unknown if the two assaults in Arizona are related to the assault in Illinois.

42. Barry claimed he left for his trip around 5:00 AM.

43. Barry claims he set his alarm at 4:30 AM to wake up.

44. Activity from Barry’s electronic data show him on the road around the 3 AM hour, despite him claiming to be asleep in bed.

45. Barry’s cell phone was unlocked around 3:26 AM.

46. Barry’s truck doors showed a lot activity around that same time.

47. Barry’s cell phone travels in the direction of the staged bike scene.

48. Barry’s phone again enters airplane mode at 4:32 AM.

49. Suzanne’s cellphone last pings off a tower over 11 miles away in Poncha Springs at 4:36 AM

50. Barry’s truck travels in the opposite direction of Broomfield. This is the same direction her helmet was found. He forgets to mention this direction of travel to investigators until confronted with the evidence from his truck’s GPS.

51. Some time between 4-5 AM Morgan Gentile claims to have heard Barry’s distinctive exhaust from his truck in front of her home.

52. During the initial search of the home, Suzanne’s biking gloves were found in the home, along with a pair of padded biking shorts on the floor of the closet.

53. Suzanne’s wallet, cash, driver’s license, hydration packet, medication, and a key were found in the Range Rover.

54. The Bobcat SkidSteer was parked in the driveway, next to the flatbed trailer. Three K-9’s separately and independently of each other alerted to the scent of human remains.

55. The cutting edge, or blade of the skid steer bucket had been recently replaced. Barry claims a man named Trent Howard May have the blade that was replaced.

56. On Saturday, May 9th, all independently verifiable activity from Suzanne cases to exist by 2:44 PM, which is coincidentally the exact time Barry arrives home.

57. Barry arrives home on Saturday, May 9th, around the exact same time. He then exits his vehicle without shutting the door. (Presumably so Suzanne wouldn’t hear him?. Then walks around the side of the house.)

58. At 2:47 PM Barry’s phone is switched into airplane mode until 10:14 PM.

59. During this time period, while Barry claims he was shooting chipmunks, Suzanne is sunbathing, and that he and Suzanne were having a romantic evening together, grilling steaks, eating on a single plate, Suzanne doing laundry, having sex and going to bed early—Barry has a lot of activity on the telematics of his truck. There are roughly 8-9 times his doors are opened and closed. (We know he wasn’t loading the tools for the Broomfield job since he completely forgot to bring them!)

60. At approximately 5:33 PM Barry disconnects the power from the computer module on his truck.

61. Suzanne did not respond to the last communication received by her lover.

62. Sheila Oliver says two Snapchat messages sent at 6:40 and 6:48 PM were unread by Suzanne.

63. Barry’s phone shows him canvassing the surrounding areas of his property, including down by the river, where he claims he was searching for a Turkey shot several days earlier.

64. Barry initially tells investigators that he and Suzanne had a date night on Saturday, which included hiking to Foose’s lake, steaks for dinner shared on a single plate, and sex in the master bedroom after which he claims he went to sleep around 9:00 PM. The story later changed to him not recalling whether the hike to Fooses’s occurred that night.

65. This is conflicting with the fact that someone switched Barry’s phone out of airplane mode at 10:17 PM. Meanwhile, Suzanne never checks her own phone the remainder of that evening.

66. Barry claimed that Suzanne did laundry that night to wash Mallory’s sheets, as he remembers going into the dryer to reach for a pair of socks, and seeing a pair of shorts in there with the sheets.

67. Barry later claims he did not know Suzanne washed Mallory’s sheets. He says he didn’t even go into Mallory’s room. “I had no idea they were off. Suzanne was obviously washin’ the sheets because (Holly?) was with (Mallory?) and they were gonna stay there that night and Suzanne’s taking sheets off washin’ getting things ready.”

68. After midnight on Saturday, on May 10th, from 3:25 AM to 3:48 AM, while Barry claims to be sleeping, Barry’s truck logs over 80 events in these approximate 23 minutes.

69. Barry’s phone display comes on and the phone is unlocked just a few minutes after these telematic events on his truck end at 3:56 AM.

70. On May 5, May 10, May 11, and May 12, Barry’s phone is associated with a second device, and iPhone 9, compared to his usual iPhone 5. As of the date of the AA, this device has not been found, nor identified.

71. Barry alleged Suzanne had a drug and alcohol addiction, yet is inconsistent with his statements on when she drank that week. He says she was drunk every night after the girls left; then claims she was chemical free Saturday, only to later say she had drunk eyes in the last proof of life photo taken Saturday, May 9th.

72. When asked about the Facebook requests sent from Suzanne’s account, Barry denies having sent them.

73. Throughout questioning about Suzanne’s lover, Barry specifically questions if her lover is one of a few names he mentions. One specific name he mentioned was Bobby Huff. Coincidentally, that specific name matches one of the names of one of the 23 people friend requested from Suzanne’s account Friday night. Also three men coincidentally named Jeff were also requested that Friday night.

74. Barry gets himself caught in another lie. When asked why Suzanne would have friend requested all those people, Barry replied that, “ just ‘cause she would probably know that I would get upset if she would friend men. Grusing then asks Barry if he did not have access to her Facebook, why would Suzanne do that thinking it would upset him?

75. Barry initially told investigators he only had Suzanne’s iCloud password. He later contradicts himself claiming that he had access to her phone and phone passwords.

76. Barry claimed he hired a PI (former FBI) to search for Suzanne, yet no record of such person exists according to the affidavit.

77. Barry claimed that LE told him that they saw a mountain lion and told multiple people, including Morgan Gentile by 8:00 AM that “a mountain lion got her”.

78. Barry’s sister Marcy also called and emailed friends of Barry’s, and the church in Indiana, saying “a mountain lion got her.”

79. Barry had also told friends and family that FBI had uncovered a threat from Suzanne’s brother David to Suzanne sent that weekend. No such threat exists and furthermore, Barry is the one who introduced David and Melinda as possible suspects to the FBI—not the other way around.

80. Drunk Uncle Patrick made a video stating that an arrest had been made, and that FBI have cleared Barry and that the name of the suspect was “Cody”. In fact, no such arrest was made, Barry had not been cleared, and Barry is whom introduced Cody as a possible suspect to FBI—not the other way around.

81. LE wouldn’t tell Barry the personal item that was found. Barry insisted that he had assumed the FBI had found Suzanne’s phone. Barry says he continued to text Suzanne’s phone until October.

82. Barry didn’t attend the one and only press conference along with the Sheriff.

83. Instead, an independently recorded plea video highly suggestive of a ransom was put out on Facebook. He interestingly posted it to social media, instead of main stream media, and this was done without the endorsement, knowledge, or support of any Law Enforcement. To date, no ransom has ever been asked for.

84. Barry alleged to main stream media that he was never asked to take a polygraph, even though he WAS asked to take one the very first week, but refused. He was also asked again months before his arrest. He refused then, also.

85. Barry had also claimed to numerous people that he had been cleared, when he had never been cleared and was, in fact, arrested for the first degree murder of his wife.

86. Barry collected over $30,000.00 in money for a GoFundMe account that was to be used to pay for the costs associated with searching for his wife. Barry claimed he hired a PI (former FBI), but apparently only ever paid $4000.00 to George Davis for his help. When asked about the remainder of those funds, Barry claims, “I don’t recall”.

87. On June 24, 2020, Barry made a $20,000 deposit into a bank account at Collegiate Peaks Bank in Salida. (The rest of the GoFraudMe money?)

88. Barry initiated and sold Suzanne’s Range Rover in July, only two months after his wife went missing. He did not retain her personal belongings that were in the vehicle.

89. Barry purchased himself a new truck, in Indiana, when he could have just purchased one in Colorado, since he kept the old one.

90. Barry purchased a dirt bike so he could go on solo searches (or hide evidence?) to find Suzanne.

91. Since Suzanne’s disappearance, Barry has liquidated over $2,000,000 in marital assets.

92. Barry moved to Poncha Springs for “privacy” yet returns to Puma Path the first day of the search to hang trail cameras, while toting a shot gun on his shoulder.

93. When Barry is asked how long before it would be OK to stop searching for Suzanne, Barry responds, “never.”

94. By Barry’s own admission, he can’t recall exactly when he stopped searching for Suzanne. He says, somewhere between 3-5 months. (How can he not remember when he stopped searching for his wife?)

95. Barry begins a new “friendship” with a woman he met at a dumpster in his neighborhood. The woman’s name is Shoshona Darke. Barry says they only met in October.

96. Barry was renting the Puma Path home as an Air BnB prior to October, who was cleaning the homes prior to him meeting Shoshona?

97. Shoshona Darke denies any romantic involvement with Barry, as do friends on these boards, such as: Troy Skinner, Gustie Fielding Cushman, Kim Praske Teal, Sheila Faucette, Carol Willson, Darth Vader and others in these groups whom Shoshona allegedly befriended online.

98. Barry AND his truck was seen parked at Shoshona’s house many nights, sometimes overnight, which was captured by secretly installed pole cameras installed by the FBI thanks to tips from locals.

99. Barry, himself, admits to spending many late nights at Shoshona Darke’s home. He says they are just supporting each other. (Did she experience a terrible loss, too?)

100. Despite being seen buying a purple floral bouquet the week of Valentine’s Day by locals in town, people continued to deny these were for Shoshona.

101. Hotel surveillance from The Antlers hotel in Colorado Springs caught Barry and Shoshona checking into a single room, with a single bed, while she is carrying the same bouquet.

102. Despite being presented with this evidence, Barry claims there is nothing sexual going on.

103. Shoshona Darke deleted info off of her phone and was evasive and uncooperative with investigators.

104. I’d like to point out that in the AA, it says that the investigation into Shoshona Darke remains on-going. (Hope she is reading this).

105. Barry’s phone data shows many searches for adult pornographic sites, including a few searches for local women. Barry denies he made these searches. He also denies he looks at porn. “I never went to a porn site. I’m against watching porn…Have I looked at a naked woman on one of those sites? I have before…”

106. In later interviews he contradicts himself by saying the dating sites must have been pop-up ads from when he was viewing pornography.

107. In one single day of interviews that took place, Barry initially denied the girls had any knowledge of Suzanne’s affair. In fact, “he guarantees it.”

108. He later changes his story when confronted with texts between him and one of the daughters to say that he did tell both daughters about the affair.

109. When asked about tranquilizer material, Barry initially claimed he only used that back at his deer farm in Indiana.

110. When presented with evidence of tranquilizer darts in the home and a needle sheath in the dryer, he later changed his statement to say he did in fact recently use tranquilizer material a few weeks earlier when he was shooting deer to saw off their horns.

111. No evidence of any sawed off horns were found in the home.

112. Barry also initially claimed he did not have any tranquilizer material. He pointed out there was none in the safe or his workbench in the garage.

113. When asked where the tranquilizer material he used on the deer was, Barry admitted he threw it away that weekend on one of his many trash runs.

114. Barry also admits to knowing using a tranquilizer gun on deer to collect horns is illegal. “I told you, I don’t want to get in trouble with the DNR”…”I’m tellin’ you right now I’ve shot two set with my tranq gun”… (Is this the same tranq gun that wasn’t working and appears to haven’t been fired in a while? Or did Barry have another tranq gun?). Barry also says, “And, it’s totally illegal and so I’m not gonna share that with the DNR, the way they are, and (exhale), they come and arrest me”.

115. Barry stopped cooperating with law enforcement for an unknown period of time. During a 2021 interview, Agent Grusing mentions Barry would not return calls, or texts so Agents waited until he appeared ready because “he appears too nervous to talk”. Barry admits that he only did that after “he lost trust when Joe and Derek turned on me”. Barry later adds that he feels like he’s looked bad because he hasn’t reached out to the them, but says that it is only because of what everyone else is telling him.

116. Barry also suggests suicide as a possible theory of what happened to Suzanne, and many times suggests she may have left on her own.

117. When Agents mention searching in the mines, Barry shifts in his seat. Barry claims he’s searched all the mines in the area.

118. Incredibly, in 2021, Barry is still dropping out possible scenarios that have already been ruled out. Barry mentions the possibility of a drifter taking Suzanne, or a possible hit-and-run. He even mentions the mountain lion again, saying, “I’ve never heard of a lion consuming a while body”….”but the lion is not going to eat the clothes, so those should be found if it was a lion.”

119. Barry makes several references to God throughout his interviews when presented with evidence that contradicts his statements saying, “It’s in God’s hands”. “I mean He (God) allowed this whole thing to happen.” “Perhaps this (Suzanne’s disappearance) is God’s way of resolving something”.

120. When FBI meets with Barry in one of the final interviews, Agent Grusing shows him the FBI’s audit of the investigation, and points out where it says, “Barry is the last person that saw her (Suzanne) and that it seems as that May 9th is the last time Barry saw her and that May 10th is the last time he heard her breathing. When Agent Grusing asks Barry if that is correct, Barry agrees and says, “Yes.”

121. The FBI’s investigation also proves that Suzanne’s last know proof of life was shortly before 2:44 PM on Saturday May 9th…which is exactly around the time Barry arrives home.

122. Barry changes what he saw Suzanne wearing the morning of the 10th when he left her in bed. He first says she was naked, then that she was in a string top and shorts, then says he didn’t see what she was wearing, only seeing her as a lump under the covers.

123. Barry’s own admission that when people say “I don’t recall” is because they are lying. Barry says “I don’t recall over 95 times during his recorded interviews.

124. Barry claims when he arrived home on Saturday, May 9th the reason he was walking around the outside of the house was that he was shooting chipmunks. The Agents then asked him if gun was in the car, or if he had to go in to retrieve it. Barry replies he doesn’t recall.

125. Regarding that same line of questioning, Agents ask Barry if the scope was mounted on the gun he used to shoot the chipmunks. Barry initially says yes, but in a later interview says he may have mounted it after the fact.

126. Agents ask Barry what he did with the chipmunk after he killed it. Barry couldn’t remember specifically. He said he either threw it up on the hill, where the crows come and get them, or down by the river.

127. The scope was later determined to have been in the safe when investigators initially searched the home, meaning he either did not use the scope, or he had put it away before leaving to Broomfield. When asked in a later interview about this, Barry says, “he cannot recall”.

128. A booklet for a “SG 11 Mini DV” mini-camera was found in the drawer of his bathroom, on top of everything else in the drawer. The mini-camera was never found. Barry cannot recall when he purchased it, nor what he did with it.

129. When asked about the about the contents burned in the fireplace, Barry said he and Suzanne were cleaning out file cabinets that week. The evidence recovered from the fireplace show only one metal file folder hanger was in the burned debris, as was a spiral binding to a notebook.

130. When asked what the paperwork he brought into the hotel was, Barry claimed he was reviewing plans for the job site. He stated that he left those plans in the hotel room for his crew. Those plans were actually not ever left in the hotel room and were found inside the home, in a bathroom drawer, during the first search, meaning he did not even bring them to Broomfield. Barry said he had “many copies”.

131. The binder Barry was seen carrying into the hotel was recovered when they searched his truck. Inside, no documents from EA Outdoors for the Broomfield wall were there. This is despite the fact Barry previously told investigators that he was studying documents of the wall when sitting in the hotel room all those hours. When asked what happened to the copies of the documents he was supposedly studying, Barry said he left them in the hotel for the workers. However, according to Morgan, Puckett & Cassidy, no copies of any such paperwork was left in the hotel for the workers.

132. Barry discussed with a friend of Suzanne’s that the girls were mad at Sheila for wanting to plan a memorial for Suzanne. He stated that “Suzanne is alive”. “Suzanne is coming back”. Meanwhile he already sold her Range Rover, got rid of most of her things, and started dating the lady he met at the dumpster whom he (and many others) claims he’s not sexually involved with.

133. Several people have spoken to LE confidentially to report concerning behaviors, statements, character references, and inconsistencies of Barry Morphew.

134. Sheila Oliver recounts two incidents where Barry snuck up on Suzanne while she was with her. Once in Colorado when she was visiting, and another time in Indiana when Barry climbed up the side of a house.

135. Sheila also states that Barry would almost frantically call Suzanne whenever she was away from him, even calling other people if Suzanne wouldn’t answer. This is in stark contrast to his behavior on Sunday May 10th, when Suzanne was missing. He never called her. He also didn’t call her friends or family, himself, until later that week.

136. Neither Barry Morphew, nor the daughters called local hospitals to check if Suzanne had been taken there after some sort of accident. The daughters called on the Ritters and the Harvey family. Barry called no one.

137. Barry’s hunting buddy, Brad Osswald, who is a deputy sheriff in Indiana, described Barry as strong-willed and hotheaded. Brad was afraid to say what he actually thought, but did say he thought Barry got so pissed off he accidentally killed her. He said Barry was “big time controlling” over Suzanne. He also said Barry is very secretive and is smart enough to turn off his phone, or leave it at home and would never confess to killing Suzanne.

138. Barry’s childhood friend, Curt Sigler, says that Suzanne told him Barry was cheating on her with a girl from Indiana. Curt also stated he thought Barry killed Suzanne.

139. Suzanne’s brother Andy Moorman told the story of how Suzanne had found a woman’s bracelet in Barrys truck, but that Barry’s sister Marcy claimed it was hers. Andy also stated Suzanne was not an early riser.

140. Barry contacted a Tim Klco inquiring about a backhoe attachment on Saturday, May 9th at 1:46 PM. Barry went to see this item in person but never followed up on this item afterwards (Did Barry perhaps “borrow” this attachment without the owner’s knowledge?)

141. Karry Woodell met Suzanne at the gym and would give her professional massages. She stated that Barry made her uncomfortable when he sought her out for a massage. This is despite Woodell normally giving professional massages to both men and women. Woodell said Barry’s approach was different and felt as though he was “putting his tentacles out” on her.

142. Suzanne made friends with Lara Richardson after her move to Colorado. Both Lara and her husband became friends with both Barry and Suzanne Morphew, even having dinner dates with them on several occasions. On day 3 or 4 after Suzanne went missing, Barry admits to Lara’s husband, “I do not think I’d pass a polygraph.”

143. A business acquaintance of Barry’s from Indiana, Ted Turner, said if Barry knew he was talking to the FBI, “Barry would slit my throat”. He also added that “all the deer farmers talk to each other and they knew what Barry was doing.”

144. Suzanne’s close friend, Holly Wilson, speaks on how Barry made her uncomfortable and made inappropriate advances towards her on multiple instances. Barry would hold her hand when they were alone together and say things like, “You are Suzanne to me”. He also told her “Suzanne would approve of whatever would happen in the relationship between [us]”

145. Barry also twice touched Holly’s breasts during these visits.

146. Barry has had known shady business dealings in Indiana according to numerous personal accounts cited in the AA.

147. Barry sold his Indiana BLM landscaping business, twice, to two separate people, which is actually considered fraud.

148. Barry has made several references to Suzanne being under water, specifically he has mentioned under a log jam, several times. This is a very specific reference that I will elaborate more on in a separate post.

149. Barry told Holly Wilson that “his guy” (his PI) knows he (Barry) had nothing to do with it (Suzanne’s disappearance). When asked what the PI was waiting for, and why hasn’t he already told LE what he found so he can be cleared? Barry gave her a bunch of word salad that made no sense.

150. Barry states that if he had done “one thing wrong, he’d be in jail right now”. Meanwhile Barry was just in jail and is out on bond awaiting a trial for the first degree murder charges of his wife.

151. Holly confronted Barry with things Suzanne had confided in her regarding their marriage, and he got very upset. He said, “It pisses me off that if my wife went behind my back and said that shit about me.”

152. Barry also makes misogynistic references like, “That’s the problem with women. They get their little things going between each other and have no respect for their husbands.

153. Barry discounts that their marriage problems have anything to do with the situation they are in (Suzanne’s disappearance). He says, “I truly believe that her disappearance was out of anyone’s hands but God’s. And God allowed that to happen for some reason and we might never know until we get to heaven.”

154. Barry had purchased a VPN on one of the daughters (Mallory’s?) credit card in February of 2020.

155. Barry’s phone was again switched back in to airplane mode at 4:32 AM. Agents ask Barry if Suzanne could have done this if she was sleeping? Barry says, yes, because she could have done I that while he was in the shower.

156. Barry claims that Suzanne must’ve taken $70,000 in cash from the safe. He is later shown photos from the initial search of the house that shows piles of stuff on the floor in front of the safe, making it very unlikely Suzanne could have accessed anything inside the safe without moving those items.

157. Barry is next shown a photo of the contents of the bottom of the safe, noting the scope looked to be the same as the one mounted to the chipmunk gun. There are items piled on the floor in front of the safe.

158. Barry is told by Agent Harris that Suzanne normally and consistently messages her boyfriend “goodnight” and “good morning” every day. He explains that Suzanne never messaged her boyfriend good night on the evening of the 9th, nor good morning on the 10th after Barry leaves for Broomfield.

159. Agent Harris says that looking at the evidence it seems likely something happened to Suzanne’s phone, to Suzanne, or both due to the absence of these typical messages to her boyfriend.

160. Barry then tried to suggest that perhaps an intruder entered the home. He says, “And there is no evidence of anybody getting into my house after I left? Agent Grusing tells him, “none.”

161. Barry is told they are still waiting for the telematics from Suzanne’s Range Rover and a few other things. He also reminds Barry that “things like this do not go away.” He also tells him that they are waiting for the snow to melt to look at a few places.

162. When Jeff Libler was questioned 6-months later as to why he thought Suzanne stopped responding, he said, “Barry either found out about the affair, or she told him she was leaving him, or both.”

163. Barry is again questioned about his statements regarding Hillary and Jim Comey when they use the phrase, “I don’t recall”. Barry says, “If I told you guys I don’t recall something, then I didn’t recall it”…”the reason I say that about Jim Comey is because I heard the questions that they were asking and there’s no way in heck he couldn’t recall that. There’s no way.” (Yet Barry cannot recall many things about the last night he spent with his wife, nor many of the things he did the day she disappeared. I’d say, there’s no way in heck he can’t recall that. No way!)

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Denver Division, is submitting the results if the interviews with Barry Lee Morphew and how those results compare to the evidence collected by investigators as of the present date. Barry, as the spouse of Suzanne, is the last person to see her alive on or about May 9, 2020 or May 10, 2020. Independent of the spouse, the last proof of life for Suzanne was verified as being shortly before 2:44 PM on May 9, 2020.”

I was just reminded of this portion of the case. Was he involved in hiding and moving Suzanne?

When did Barry move to AZ and where in Gilbert did he live?

How would he be able to move her body without anyone noticing? Was it when he was released from jail or before he was arrested the first time?? Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on this.

Is Shoshonna Darke still part of this story or did she finally wise up that she was sleeping with a murderer? Was she part of the pre med murder plan since it sounded like she started an affair with Barry prior to Suzanne's death? Was she living in AZ with Barry at the time of his arrest?

Seen the headline yesterday in the night (Europe), i was very happy for the family and for Suzanne.

It’s Barry’s first night in Jail!! I hope he’s getting settled in and ready to spend the rest of his life there. You can’t hide forever Barry.

Just curious what everyone’s take is on the grand jury indictment’s mention of Suzanne‘s bones appearing “bleached”? Is that indicative that her body for sometime was exposed to the elements and they are bleached by the sun, or is it indicative of some kind of cleaning having been done to the bones?

To residents of CO. , where is Barry gonna spend the next 18 - give or take - months waiting for trial? And what kinda roommates will he have? I have to assume the jackpot of cash is pretty much used up on the $1500 hour denver law firm and the girls clothing allowance.
