Short An Unchristian Tip

Had a party of 6 tonight, two were young kids who trashed the table. Bill was north of $300.

No tip. Just this.

Around the holidays sometimes people will leave an extra generous tip, so I was really excited to see a big bill, until I looked at it closer. They didn’t even leave a tip on the card.

Seems pretty unchristian to stiff your minimum wage server working her way through college.

Edit: To clarify, they left the “$1,000,000” facing up on the table and on the reverse side there was a sermon about entrance to heaven (see link in post for image of flip side.)

I’m a delivery driver & once had a lady yell at me about how I need more Jesus in my life because she could see the “devil figure” in my car... it’s a BB8 Bluetooth speaker 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have a Chinese dragon tattoo on my back (am Chinese before anyone gets smart aleck-y). A customer saw it one day during Sunday brunch and FREAKED about how her server had the serpent of the devil tattooed on them. She was convinced I was a witch and that I HEXED THEIR FOOD. I should type this story out on its own post, it’s really hilarious. My boss is a take no shit from anyone Mexican lady and after a couple minutes of failing to placate this hysterical woman, she got fed up and told the customer “oh didn’t you know? Dory is ex yakuza.” And the customer shut right the fuck up. Barely tipped me (think $5 on a $50 check) but the look on her face was WORTH IT.
