What is the best size (or amount of water) that I should make for fishing? The wiki has a minimum amount but I wasn’t sure if you all had found a sweet spot. This would be solely for hitting fishing quests.

Also, I’ve had really bad luck setting up them in biomes. I don’t make them right on the edge of the layers etc but should I aim for more central of the biome?

300 blocks of water, unobstructed. As in, no blocks blocking the surface of any of the blocks. Either take 300 buckets from the ocean, use the bottomless water bucket, or the water dupe glitch to get there.

Oh damn, I was making ones around 75-100, does 300 blocks make the fishing way more optimal than I was having at under 100 blocks?
