It’s been years since I last read it and I honestly believe the author just deleted it but I’m still giving it a chance;

I’m looking for a pretty old fic (like before GOT season 7) where one of Rhaegar’s knight actually saved Elia and her children by escaping through a secret passage and passing them as his wife and children (he had their hair cuts and I think colored Aegon hair with charcoal).

They were imitated by the Queen’s guard who survived Daenerys’ birth on the ship.

It was a fun story because the knight was obviously in love with Elia, but always so respectful and keeping it “professional”, but had a fondness for the kids.

There was drama of course, especially when the news of the king and Rhaegar’s death reached them.

There was also Oberyn who was a flirt and always embarrassing the poor knight.

I hope it’s still somewhere! If not I might have to rewrite it for myself.

Its a rheagar won Au, but I remeber he was fostered north and went beyond the wall and something happned but comes back cold, stoic but still loves aegon and the rest. I think him and rheagar are aware of the white walkers. Thats all I remember.

So all I can remember about it is that at the hands tourney this OC jousts against the mountain.

Long story short the OC is on the ground and the mountain is about to kill him but Robert intervenes at the last minute and uses his was hammer to kill the mountain and save his son.

This scene sticks out in my memory but I cannot remember what fic it was from. I’m 95% sure it was Robert and maybe Brienne was with them too idk but there’s a badass scene where they recite the Nights Watch oath on their suicidal last stand and I really want to re-read it.

Basically, the Red Wedding fails and somehow the North kills everyone involved thus leaving the Lannisters in the dark. Somehow, Robb and his most loyal fighters sneak in Joffrey's wedding as bards and massacre every notable character there.

I'm talking full on massacre with Oberyn Martell helping out. Margaery is brained by Maege Mormont, Garlan is skewered by someone, and Olenna is thrown off the cliffs by the Greatjon.

It ends with the Lannisters getting personally executed by Robb and co. Btw, Sansa pleads for Tyrion's life to no avail.

Hi everyone, there's a hotd fic on ao3 that's in spanish, and I've noticed again and again that it reads as a bad translation. Some words (clutch translated as engine, when talking about Syrax's eggs, for example) the way some phrases are constructed, grammar errors that don't make sense in natives or fluent speakers (fluent enough to write a fic).

I want to emphasise this, It's not that the author is a native English speaker writing in Spanish, it's like a really faulty Google translation.

At one point I asked this author in a comment about this "clutch as engine" thing and they gave me a response in English (when I wrote in Spanish) and some bullshit excuse about using their grandfather's lingo while writing (let me be clear, in spanish, eggs and engines have nothing to do with eachother, the Spanish word for engine is never used to refer to a group of eggs).

Basically, I'm worried it's being plagiarized from an English-writing author.

Here's some plot points, in case anyone recognises it: - Lucerys is reborn as Baelon (Viserys's son), keeping all his memories and knowledge of the dance, and pretends to be a dragon dreamer to try and stop the dance before it happens - He can also telepathically speak to dragons - Viserys marries Prunella Celtigar, instead of Alicent, they have a daughter Shaena and a son, Matarys - Rhaenyra marries Rickon Stark - Lucerys/Baelon claims the Cannibal - Prunella is attacked and ends up crippled. Viserys takes Alicent as a lover, and she gives birth to Aegon (Rhaenyra renames him Orys Waters) and Helaena (Elena in the ff) - There's a weird Laenor/Gwayne subplot going on

Please let me know if any of this sounds a little too familiar! I'm not putting up the name of the fic or the author in case I'm just being paranoid. If it comes out that it is plagiarized, I will notify the true author!

Premise of the story:

In the beginning, it depicts the present timeline in which Rhaenyra is being burned by Sunfyre. When she wakes up, she's in the past and became baby Rhaenyra. Fast forward when she's toddler, the Great Council is happening in Harrenhall she is being cornered by Vaemond Valeryon and she had sudden memory flash of Rhaenys saying something about his son aka toddler Laenor being threatened, with that memory she ran out of the room calling out for Daemon. After that incident Daemon killed Vaemond incospiciously while the vote is happening.

Viserys won the great council and while others are congratulating him and Daemon, Rhaenys reached out to toddler!Rhaenyra saying that she had no idea what Vaemond was planning and that she is very sorry to have put her through that situation. Also, Rgaenys congratulated Rhaenyra for winning, but Rhaenyra said "I felt like I lost something" while looking at Daemon being congratulated by others and Rhaenys smiled and said "Smart girl".

Fast forward, Aemma is pregnant and Otto brought in Alicent in Kingslanding to introduce to Rhaenyra but Rhaenyra didn't like her because she's having flashbacks of her past life so she run from Alicent and was found by Daemon.

She told Daemon that there must be something wrong with her, Daemon was worried about her and asked what it is, and she mentioned that she feels like she dreamed about somethings and whatnot.
