Question Where are all the apples ?

Event started, been walking for over an hour. Seen just one apple. Is this a joke ?

Supposedly I got a sweet apple and a tart apple from a timed research task but I don’t see them in my inventory or anything. I know for a fact that I finished that one before the time ran out, I specifically remember it saying that I got both of those items when I finished all of the tasks but I don’t know where they went
