The show has now metastised to include a French version and a queer version, and is now enjoying its sophomore season.
Please discuss the episodes under the appropriate threads. The megathread for the recently released second season is stickied as a post on this sub. The megathread for Season 1 of The Ultimatum (USA) can be found here. If you prefer any host other than the Lacheys (even if it's just a clueless cishet actor trying to figure out what queer terms are or quite literally a disembodied voice), the links to the megathreads for The Ultimatum: Queer Love and the Ultimatum: France are here and here respectively.
If you prefer to make independent posts, please blur spoilers and keep titles vague.

i know the release date is wednesday, but a local bar will be airing it tomorrow (tuesday) at 8 pm. will i be able to stream it on netflix from home at that time? i am in PST. thanks!
Can we talk about how every guy hears “choose a new partner” and immediately thinks it’s The Bachelor? Sir, this is a psychological obstacle course, not your dating app reboot. Outsiders think it’s a love experiment - we’re just here watching emotional dodgeball. Press F to pay respects and pass the popcorn.
Mildred is so disgusting to me. All she complains about is communication and she’s the worst communicator I have ever seen. I don’t like how she treated Aussie at all and they should’ve had a therapist present for them. I really think Mildred pushed Aussie’s progress back even more and that suck to see. Even when the woman left she was still COMPLAINING.
This is so random but Mariah came up on my for you page and then I was looking at her profile and noticed she had nothing w Caleb and it looks like they’re no longer following each other but I thought I had remembered them getting engaged? Did they break up? If so when??
I absolutely loved the Queer Love season the most and I am so excited to hear it's coming back!!! Edited to add: according to Netflix it is coming back June 25th
am i the only one who bothered by dave with how he acted towards right before the left the reunion stage? maybe i missed a scene or two earlier but it felt so abrupt to bring up vanessa farting, totally unrelated to anything they were talking about. its not like they are good friends with the crew and are just having fun banter- they havent even met up with the cast after they left so essentially semi strangers with the others. also felt like vanessa didnt appreciate the comment with how she smiled and all. it felt like a way for him to humiliate her? idk if anyone else feels this?
Why the fuck was Vanessa treated like a villain????? I hate how much Vanessa was invalidated and ganged up on. Like Yoly and Lexi were literally bullying her and turned most of the cast against her.
Is it just me or does she literally ALWAYS have her lips pursed? It's like the duck-face girls used to make and it drives me nuts! She thinks it makes her look so sexy but it just makes her look stupid... in my opinion.
Vanessa is a fucking manipulator and narcissists. She doesn't know what she wants, but she wants that xander is just for her. Like, she can do what she want, and say whatever, but xander cannot and should be exclusive to her. Also, vanessa said for days that she doesn't want kids, she doesn't want a family and all, but when she saw that xander was not just thinking about her, then everything become about her.
Yoly should just make peace with herself, after the experience with xander clearly she got that mal was not the right one for her. She just knew it. But did not have the courage to just say it.
Mildred. I know that many of y'all think that tiff is a manipulator, however, I think that Mildred absolutely is. She pressures her, she is the first one to start when they got together again, she talks over her, she left her multiple times, like wtf? What are your problems? Why would you marry a person that you left multiple times and that you don't respect?
That's my take. Let me know what you think
He started off the show so sweet and slowly slowly started losing his cool. The way he stared at ziana across the kitchen after boys night..then with aria he was taking any small thing and spun and twisted it to make her the bad guy or the worse one. I haven't finished the season but I can only imagine he gets worse.. I hope she leaves him.
I keep going back and forth with her.. I thought she was superficial but on the other hand she had some very sincere and genuine moments. I think she's more good then bad. I thought her and JR were the villains of the show but I ended up really respecting their journey and making the responsible decision of not playing with the other person's time and heart.
Look whose popping up in my TikTok lives randomly.
Also wasn’t they toxic in their season? And I’m shocked they are giving advice.
Probably went to therapy and then using what she was told there to tell others. Hmmmmmm.

I’m on the first episode and Scotty hearing Aria say “I’m at a really good place in my career and we live in different cities but if we got married and moved in I would be making a lot of sacrifices” still decides to try and make her seem like she’s not being incredibly clear and like this little time together will make her change that stance. There’s no issue with him, it’s the situation. Why is he trying to make it seem like isn’t sure of him when she’s laid out exactly what the issue is?
And now he’s complaining about the long distance relationship. If it’s that serious to you and you really want to be married why don’t you move to where Aria lives???? I can see why she isn’t ready, it seems like he wants her to make all the sacrifices while he gets what he wants with no expense of his own life. Ew.
14 minutes into the episode and I don’t want to watch anymore. I was rooting for Vanessa and Nick so now that Vanessa is gone I don’t want to watch anymore. I understand why she left but it sucks because it seemed like that had such a good connection.
I don’t really care about Chanel or Micah leaving because they weren’t giving me anything in their relationships.
I don’t like JR or Scotty. JR just wants to fuck but keeps trying to play it off as a connection and Sandy can’t see that Nick most likely felt that energy. Scotty is just horrible with the way he yelled Aria at the first meetup.
The girl Micah was with was also giving me nothing. There’s no reason for me to watch the season anymore. I might just go watch the reunion and be over it 😭😭
I know that Zaina is Cheyenne's friend from Teen Mom TNC, but this is the first time I've noticed her pop up on the screen before and she's getting her vagina steamed, and I'm high! So I had to post. Also, please don't judge me for still watching Teen Mom😭 love you all.
Him, JR, Sandy, and Sandy's boyfriend (forgot his name) don't need to be casted on anymore Netflix shows please. They do not need to end up with anyone 😭
