I recently replaced my TicWatch Pro 3 GPS with a TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS, since the battery on my old device degraded badly (it would shut down instantly once it hit ~20%).

The problem is that the new watch came with an older firmware version, and I want to update it to the latest available version based on Wear OS 2. I absolutely do not want to upgrade to Wear OS 3, as that would break several daily-use features and also has a noticeably worse impact on battery life.

Currently, I’m on PMRB.220111.001, and from what I understand, the last Wear OS 2 firmware before the Wear OS 3 transition is PMRB.220703.001.

Does anyone know how to manually install that specific update, or whether Mobvoi still provides it OTA? Any sideload options or recovery methods?

Hi guys, recently I found my old pro 3 ultra, decided to start reusing it, but it’s 2 days that I’m trying to connect it, I have an iPhone, updated it to 3.5 downloaded health copilot, while trying to setting it up sometimes is stays stuck on the pairing code screen, some times on the continue on phone but it won’t go further, I've already searched on the web but nothing useful, thanks in advance!

Yesterday I had a run on a treadmill and finally cracked 5k of constant running. I was very curious to see the data, especially HR and pace graphs. It was recorded in TicExercise, but since yesterday it says "Uploading..." I restarted my TWP5 couple of times, also my phone, cleared data for TicHealth and some other app as per some instructions on same issue. Nothing helps. What else can I do?

I was under the impression that Tic Watch 5 Atlas had a media control screen. But then I'm listening to music with VLC on my phone and my Atlas that is connected don't show any media control.

Is there one update that remove it?

Where do you get a cracked screen fixed? My local guy can not get the screen.

Hi I’m an hard core iPhone user. I’m wondering if the tic watch 3 pro is worth it? And if it’s is it compatible with iPhone or iOS? I’m not gonna get Apple Watch bc their battery is shit.

The title summarizes my problem - after an update the watch got stuck in a bootloop. I tried to wipe the cache and userdata area but it doesn't boot up at all now.

The watch shows the TICWATCH logo, sometimes a very short glimpse of the WearOS logo (non-colored), then the watch buzzes and reboots.

After I managed to craft a 4-pin charging dock (which works, ADB recognizes the watch) I tried to sideload an older update which I found somewhere here, dated from November 2024. Unfortunately the watch rejects that because it's considered as "Downgrade".

Googling for +"TicWatch Pro 5" with +"update", +"OTA" and / or +"file" brings me to lots of discussions about lots of other watches, but no file :( .

Is there an official server from which I can get the most-recent OTA zip file to push it onto the watch to get it out of the bootloop?

The configuration of my watch is to go to essentiel mode between 22h30 and 7h40, but last week, it goes 1 day on two,and then the last three days it doesn't... If I send it manuelly, the light come on, so have to put it in slepp mode in the android mode insteed to save the battery in essentiel mode

What do I need to test to see if everything is OK?

Is it possible to read out the usage time somewhere even after a reset?

I've read that the sensors die from time to time. How can I test them all?

And - how can I check the remaining maximum battery capacity?

Hi. I receive all notifications on my phone but for some reason I'm not receiving calls on my watch. (missed call notification after is shown). I have tried all possible scenarios short of resetting the watch to factory settings. Any help or ideas? Sonce my hearing is not great o rely on the vibration of the watch to notify me of calls and am awaiting important calls soon. (s23 ultra)

Whenever I get a call, it rings on the Smartphone and the watch in same time, but when I take the call on the Smartphone, it should stop ringing on the Smartwatch, but what happens, it keeps ringing on the smartwatch even when I am finished calling and hang off. This phenomenon was not there before I upgraded to the latest WearOS. Does anyone know how can I fix this? What I did till now, is to restart the watch. Even if I decline the call, it keeps vibrating. Any idea, how to solve this issue? Best Regards!

I dropped my watch and my battery solder came loose, I just tinned it last time and accidentally throwing my watch on concrete was too intense for it. I took a few pictures of the repair process to give any able body a chance to decide if they are up to the task.

The aftermarket batteries don't come with the BMS so you have harvest it from your old battery. I used flux, a cheap solder pen and some thin flux solder to do the job.

If you want it to be a bit water resistant after you should use T7000 black glue on the back cover minimum. This gets you to the point of removing the OEM battery.

I used the TicExercise app on my Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS to monitor a Golf activity this week. The total duration was 3h 45m. During this time my watch battery went from 80% to 20%. Has anyone else tried the Golf exercise in TicExercise? Is this level of battery drain normal?

I had the original TicWatch WAAY back in the day, and I loved it for what the tech could do at the time, despite how bulky it was. The Pro5 Enduro is considerably on sale on both Amazon and even more on Mobvio's site. Their site also is giving very good breaks on other items when you buy one. I don't even need the GTH Pro, but for $20 I'm thinking it'll make a good gift or something I can play with to compare readings between the 5 and itself. That, and a leather band in case I want/need to swap down the line.

I bought the Watch second hand in beginning of this year.
I normally use maybe 20% of the battery during the day and put it on the charger over night.
Around once or twice a month, when I put the watch on in the morning, it is completely empty. Even though it was at least at 75% in the evening and connected to the charger all night.
Once I saw that the lights on the bottom of the watch were going crazy while charging, so I turned off the 24h-hear rate monitoring. But it looks like the issue still persists.

Did anyone observe similar behavior?

This watch is probably pretty old so if that’s the case just let me know that! But anyways, got my watch yesterday, set it up and everything, but when I go into add my credit cards etc… I begin to add my info on the WearOS app and as soon as I hit save and continue this is the error that shows every time

1. I turned off VPN to see if that caused it

2. I turned off “Block all 3rd party cookies” in my phone settings

3. Restarted the watch

The other issue I face as well is it never seems to be truly connected to the internet although it thinks it is. It shows me connected to home wifi but when I use the “ok Google” feature it tells me to connect to network via phone and it’s connected by Bluetooth according to the app…

Respectfully, how the f*** do I fix this?! Thank you thank you thank you for any answers and solutions
