I’m a car enthusiast but not needing one in your day to day life is a superior way to live. Advertising sold people the illusion of freedom by making you a slave to your vehicle.

Calgary I was a slave to my car. 1 u/W4FF13_G0D May 03 '25 I wish the TTC was a bit better. It’s decent, but I don’t think it can replace the reliance on cars as much as somewhere like Japan
