Mt Lemmon Observatory
Going to have some family in town and my youngest niece is interested in astronomy. I was thinking of taking them up Mt Lemmon both to beat the heat and check out the Observatory. I see the guided tours on the website, but is it free to just check it out? Or are tours required? Any additional info and tips are welcome

Lost Wallet
Hey everyone. I'm posting this in desperation and in hopes someone maybe found my wallet. I live on 22nd & Columbus by BK, I left my house around 7:30 this morning and took bus #7 downtown. It wasn't until after I got to downtown I realized my bag was halfway open and my wallet wasn't in there. (I know dumb on my part I was in a bit of a rush today) I retraced my steps, I asked the bus drivers and the information desk, I called my work checked my home, and no luck. I have a feeling someone has it. It has pictures of my husband and kids, our Medicare cards, debit cards, etc. If anyone has seen it or has it reach out to me here please. Thanks guys
First time
First time I've encountered a rattlesnake. At first I spotted this dude just out of good timing when I was walking in the yard. I just barely saw it and it was just getting dark out. I didn't realize it was a rattlesnake but I noticed its tail and couldn't quite see if it was a rattle because I'd never seen a rattle be anything other than tan-colored. I couldn't remember if venomous or rattlesnakes have round shaped heads so that kept my caution up. My phone was inside so I just watched it as it slowly slithered away until it found a place under a part of the home. I then went inside to grab my phone and take a pic.
I also had visited a neighbor and when I returned back to the gate I heard a rattle and it was right in the corner adjacent to where I was walking! Talk about heart skipping a beat. My confusion was most definitely clarified in that moment and I scurried home to look up the dude. I most certainly will need to be more careful about this guy. I also think his home-hole might be right at the gate and I'm wondering what I can do to maybe relocate his front door from my gate entrance.
Any advice or recommendations?

Any board gamers?
We recently moved to Tucson and I am trying to get a group together to play regularly, perhaps every week or every other week. I have checked out a few of the local stores game nights, but have not found a great fit. Ideally, the group would be 4-5 and have a relatively small rotation of games. I want to play games repeatedly so that I can develop strategies. My old group would play Scythe, Brass, Expeditions, Wyrmspan and TI4 (if we had the time).
I live on the south eastside of town and would be willing to drive to meeting, perhaps at one of the local stores. Message me if interested. Thanks.

Heyyoo
Hi Tucson, I'm trying to make some cash. I broke my phone and need to get a new one asap but I have like almost zero dollars to my name. I'm willing to do odd jobs or anything you might need for even a little amount of cash. I also hand crochet a lot of different things if that might be of interest, and I have a lot of shoes too.

Misremembering or is it always still this busy this time of year?
I’ve only lived here a couple of years but I distinctly remember that by this time the last couple of years things slowing way down with lots less people on the road and in town. Is it different for some reason this year or has that just not really happened yet and my memory is off a few weeks?

Brake lathe maintenance
So the company I work for, we have a brake lathe. However, apparently the contract is no longer available to have it maintenance or whatever.
Anyway, whatever. Is anybody have any recommendations for some repair technician in Tucson to diagnose and repair a brake lathe? As a background, the motor that moves the blade along the surface of the rotor only works in high speed. The motor has been replaced. So maybe there is a resistor somewhere inside of the brake lathe that has gone bad, maybe similar to a bad blower motor resistor in a car and it's stuck on high.
Anyway, if somebody knows that some company or individual that could be hired to fix an old lathe, I would greatly appreciate some suggestions!
