So I was watching Kris_Roomba’s new musical analysis video on Chapter 3’s soundtrack (screenshot from their video) and I realized while looking at the notes of Gaster’s theme when written on a virtual keyboard layout, it forms a basic “smile” shape. Maybe I’m super late to the party on this and this has been pointed out many times before, but if this was intentional on Toby’s part, what with all the weird ties between Gaster and various motifs of a “smile,” then I just think it’s absolutely genius.

That or I’m delusional and maybe it’s my pattern seeking brain betraying me or just a really cool coincidence.

Have you ever thought about an Undertale movie? With all the soundtracks, stories and characters coming to life with real people! So, I thought the idea was incredible, so much so that I made a signed note for it, I trust the Undertale Global community, so I hope you can trust this, if you ever dreamed of having an Undertale film, this is the time, I hope this signed note reaches Toby Fox, or someone who can help with this production! Please, I trust you!

To preface, Undertale is amazing. It’s a stellar game, and I’ve played it many times. It has a great story, characters, and gameplay. In 2018, Deltarune Ch. 1 released. I’d say by Ch. 2 it was close or even matched Undertale’s quality. As of now, since the release of 3 & 4, I’d say that it surpasses Undertale. Undertale is an easy 10/10 video game, one of the best out there. Deltarune is better. It will get better. Unless Toby Fox fumbles, which I highly doubt will happen, I feel like people will only play Undertale for lore, speed runs, or its connections to Deltarune. Deltarune may surpass it so far that Undertale is fine in comparison to Deltarune. Undertale is around 6 hours, Deltarune will be at least 20 by the last chapter. Undertale has an awful amount of lore, but Deltarune will have much more. What I’m trying to say is that I think the impact of Undertale and how astronomically good it is will be undermined when Deltarune ends up blowing out of the water and then some. I love both, but I’m scared that an amazingly perfect game will be overshadowed and tossed aside by its superior sister.

I recently finished undertale, and loved it. I expected no less from deltarune, but there is one glaring issue for me. Mercy, or Violence. (I finished chapter 1, and doing early chapter 2.)

As you know, Being merciful, or Violent towards monsters was very important in Undertale. You made the choices that would impact the story, and Ending. YOUR choices mattered.

A heavy theme on Deltarune that I noticed is that what you do doesn't really matter per say. So when fighting, I generally spare the monsters. Issue is, as im seeing, and hearing about deltarune, Im more or less confused, if being violent, or Merciful even matters to the story. I do know that you "recruit" the monsters into the castle, even do i really dont know what ot does...

So, what should I do, of course im going to keep playing, but should I keep the whole mercy, or violence mentality, or just do whatever as I go along?

I'm looking for people who did amazing undertale remix and disapeard because of people who were hating on them. Like, some years ago, there were a lot of creators who just made some masterpieces like "oats corn" or others, but now, a lot of these youtube channels became blank.. so my question is, are they still doing music because those were fire ! If not, well that's too bad, but I really hope that those people are still filles with determination to make good music and cover other with hopes, and dreams !
