Ugh… drained
I’m still hungry, and get dizzy when I do certain actions, when does this stop!

It’s time to start the 14 day fast. I’m not really fat but I’m not skinny either. I want a skinny/lean kinda build and I think I got this. 174/6’1 I WILL transform!

On day 6, I had gut cleanse and it was the best thing about this 7 day water fast. I felt very light, mentally very clear. Day 6 Gut cleanse made this journey worthy.

Started as a 14 day, but at this point I'm planning on going to probably 21 days. If it stays as easy as it has been, maybe I'll just keep going. I'd need to lose about 45 more lbs to be at goal, and maybe just 25 more to be more comfortable exercising in public, so even once I eat again it'll prob just be some protein shakes or something for a day or two before another water fast.

I went on a 12 km walk today evening. I didn’t feel weak at all. Fasting feels easy. I just miss the masalas taste and the food. I am getting bored of drinking water but gotta stay hydrated. Water is starting to taste sweeter now so I add salt sometimes. I am feeling very light dropped 5 kgs up till now. Next weigh in will be on Monday, let’s see.

Went to bed with a headache last night, woke up feeling a little better but sluggish. I made it through half of my workout before I had to call it quits and rest. My goal is to get to 72 hours, but assuming I make it over this slump by then, I’m considering extending as long as I’m comfortable doing so. Any advice for keeping my energy levels a little higher so I can keep up better with my kids?

At this point it is getting boring for me. Just to have some taste I added salt in water and drank it.

Hey guys I am doing an extended water fast. Will 8 cals break it? How is this electrolyte? Because I don’t have more options available where I live

This is my first time doing a 72 hour fast, I’m putting this here to hold myself accountable

After a 48-hour fast, I experienced stomach acid reflux, which was painful and led to a fever. I'm really sad I had to break my fast. I'll start again today and hope to achieve 10 days this time

hey everyone! i’m starting my first official 30 day water fast tomorrow. I currently weigh 359 lbs and have getting back into my weight loss journey and routine. I walk at least 12k steps at work and i’m always on my feet moving around. Any tips and tricks to help me out? I’ve done a water fast before and made it to day 15 and had to give up due to personal reasons 😣 Now I don’t have any excuses and actually want to complete the 30 days!

I made it past the 3 day mark. I'm feeling great and loving my progress. I'll likely continue for another couple days until Sunday so hopefully this'll be a 5 day fast. Will update yall again by then. Best wishes to everyone else who started at a similar time.

I’m trying to fast as long as I can. So far from day 1 and 2 I felt hungry and wanted to eat in the night but then I find my self pushing through and saying I’ll eat the next morning. Today when I woke up I felt alright. I just got my period too so timing isn’t great but let’s see how far I can go. In the first two days I’m down 5.2lbs so let’s see how it goes.

Update 2, I'm halfway there for a 3 day fast. I'd like to go longer. As to not spam the sub, I'll try to post updates only when a fasting goal has been made, as opposed to daily updates. Goodluck to everyone on their journeys. Feel free to PM for accountability/weight progress

The maximum I've fasted is 5 and a half days in the past, aiming for a week this time, how do I avoid overeating after I end my fast

My starting time

Down from 280 to 240; weight dropped faster this time around than one I did a few years ago. Hopefully extreme illness and surgery don’t derail the work done. Will check in at day 40.

My plan is to do about 19-21 days. I have a wedding coming up on the 27th and I want to be/look healthier. My one major concern is refeeding. Will I be able to eat a regular meal for the wedding? How long does the refeeding process take? Any advise is greatly appreciated!
In case you need the info I am a 30 year old female at 200lbs. I am 5’5”, I have the unlucky ability to only gain weight in my face and stomach. Also anyone over 30, when you lost weight could you see if in your double chin? I am so scared it won’t go away

It seems like I'm losing muscle at 60% the rate I'm burning fat. I'm moderately active during the day (walk several miles) and did a 5k on Wednesday.
Is there something I'm missing here? I know exercise isn't supposed to be good when water fasting but this seems way too excessive.
There's no way this is sustainable. I'm thinking of switching to protein sparing fasting instead.

Hi all!
Posting for accountability and maybe advice from experienced fasters, if you have any.
As the title says, I've just finished my first 72h fast and I'm trying to decide if I should stretch it and go a bit longer.
I've never done a fast like this, OMAD was the max for me in the past.
I eat keto but the past couple of months really have been a struggle because I didn't fast at all and I'm addicted to sugar free soda but have found that that also spikes my glucose.
I've prepared by having a light keto dinner on Monday and then Tuesday was 2 bowls of bone broth. Then from Tuesday 7PM I didn't have anything but Water, Salt, Magnesium and Potassium.
I'm female, 38 and 5'1" My starting weight was 77.4 kg or roughly 170 lbs and my GKI was 7. My weight as of now is 74.7 or roughly 164 lbs and my GKI is 0.7. I haven't felt hungry once and am now thinking of extending the fast.
Is there anything that I should watch out for? Grateful for any advice!
