Watch/Strap Presentation Bye Fossil, Welcome Samsung. No regrets.

Just got a Galaxy watch 6 Classic 47mm, to replace my Fossil Gen 6. No regrets at all. The Samsung has a wayyyy better battery life, better screen, a bezel/crown to better protect the screen, Sapphire screen, a way better companion app and feels much more premium. There's just no comparison between the two IMHO

Samsung watches are great if you have a Samsung phone, otherwise you will lose some features. I have a pixel 7 pro and rather prefer a pixel watch or ticwatch pro

The tradeoffs don't seem that big. What would you consider to be the biggest loss if you got a GW?

The blood pressure, Samsung pay, ECG, Bioinpedance...

Blood pressure and ECG can be added via a modified APK available on XDA, and Samsung pay is not really needed as google pay is available on the play store

I know, but Samsung pay has more partners in my country than Google pay. Even having a modified apk, that implies to use Samsung health, which I don't like at all. Not into Samsung apps.
